14 weeks into my first pregnancy and my skin was unbearably dry and itchy as a result. I tried so many different lotions, oils, creams, tallow, eating more healthy saturated fats, increasing water intake along with mineral salt, drinking a ton of coconut water. I even stopped washing my body with soap and switched to conditioner. Nothing was working until my doula recommended this salve. It was so great I bought a second jar just a day later. My hands haven't felt like sandpaper since the first use and my growing belly is finally not itchy. It helped heal a burn on my arm very quickly, too. I am so grateful to have found this incredible product.

The price seemed high at first, but reading all of the goodness found in the ingredients label confirmed this to be a special herbal salve that helps many conditions and in general.It smells very earthy, a very pleasant blend of herbs and oils.Consistency and feel is oily and lacks greasiness, feeling more like massage oil once rubbed in than lotion.

I wanted to love it and find a source for calendula/comfrey that wasn't my own yard and hard labor. The salve is grape seed and coconut oil based, which is super greasy and slow to rub in. I would be willing to deal with the grease if there were any benefits to the salve. I don't know if there aren't enough herbs in it or it lost potency on a warehouse shelf somewhere. But there was no improvement in my eczema, small wounds healed no quicker, no pain or inflammation relief. I know calendula and comfrey works for me, I've been using it for years.
