I’ve used A LOT of products over the years that claim to raise your pH. Most of them have been totally worthless. I had been drinking Alkalife water for years, but never tried this product until recently. Sang Whang (RIP) mentioned that if you have low stomach acid, the bicarbonate tabs might work better for you than alkaline water. He was right. I’ve experienced a wide variety of benefits since using these tablets. A calmer nervous and digestive system, to start. A feeling of more oxygen in my body, which naturally translates into more energy.I was skeptical, but figured the product was cheap enough to roll the dice. I’m very glad I did. This product, combined with a low sugar and low grain diet, can be even more powerful.

Based on a lot of the reviews most people don't understand what this product is intended to do. If you are thinking of buying this product, I strongly recommend you first read Sang Wang's book "Reverse Aging." And then since the concept of balancing your PH is alternative medicine, Google some of the science behind the claims that PH balancing does not work. As for me, I have read Wang's book and the chemistry seems to make sense -- but I only have an undergraduate course or two in chemistry. I give the product 4 starts based on the fact that it is what it claims. I am not 100% sure that PH balancing does anything, ergo 4 stars and not 5. I don't think this product will cure anything per say but I think long term use may prevent conditions such as hardening of the arteries, and so forth much like good nutrition prevents problems rather than cures them. Taking it as an anti-acid or some of the things discussed in various comments below is inappropriate IMHO.

I was looking for something that did not contain stearate as it causes my eczema to flare up. This was not listed as an ingredient but on the bottle it is listed. Glad I double checked before taking. Not eligible for refund so will have to toss.

Not feeling good after a diet of acidic foods, e.g., greasy meats, sweets, booze and grain products? These tabs are a fast and convenient method to alkalize your body for improved pH balance. The coating keeps them from dissolving in your mouth or throat, or messing with stomach acid, and guarantees a slow release once deep inside your innards. Of course it's better to eat plenty of alkaline veggies but when they're out of season, you're traveling or just too busy, Alkalife tabs can even out the score and help improve your health. A bit pricy but I found the timed release coating makes them much more effective than similar uncoated products. I take one tab daily during the cooler seasons. When my garden is producing, I eat enough alkalizing veggies to rest or cut back on on these pills.
