I’m not usually someone who writes reviews, but this pet hair removal brush absolutely deserves one.I have multiple cats, so pet hair on my bed and furniture is just part of life. I’ve tried lint rollers, vacuum attachments, and every “pet hair miracle” product out there — and none of them compare to this.This brush pulls embedded fur out of my bedding and couches in just a few passes. I was honestly shocked at how much it removed the first time I used it. It’s easy to use and clean and it doesn’t those annoying sticky sheets.And the price? Perfect. For the quality and effectiveness, it’s more than worth it.If you have cats (especially more than one), this is a must-have.
Removes Pet Hair like Magic
I rarely leave reviews for purchases but I feel compelled to with this product. I have a Golden Retriever (if you have one you know). I literally vacuum every day, use a swiffer on the floor at least 3 times a day. I don't even know how this dog has hair left! This ChomChom (it should be called MagicMagic) is worth every single nickle (pennies are a thing of the past now) It removes hair off my furniture much more effective and quicker than any high end vacuum cleaner can. Its just an amazing product. I only wish it came in a longer version with a handle for my rugs! If it did, I would never use a vacuum cleaner again. Hey ChomChom manufacturers....what say you? If you have a Golden that sheds like crazy or any dog or cat for that matter do not hesitate. You wont regret this purchase. I think this is a small business so lets elevate these folks! They deserve it!!!
The best lint roller that I have used ever!!!
I absolutely did not expect this pet hair remover to work the way it does. I have two cats and a great Pyrenees. There's constantly hair all over my house. I just moved and was looking for something that was cost-effective to get the hair off my couch I've not been able to find a vacuum cleaner that was affordable and strong enough to remove all of the hair. I've been looking at reusable lint rollers for quite some time now, I did not want to take my chance on the 80+ dollar lint roller, losing it stickiness because of the volume of hair that I have to pick up. This product is easy to use , highly effective, and fits in most places. I will say it doesn't work on a hard flat surface, I tried to use it on my pool table to no avail however it works on all types of cushioning fabrics so I'm very pleased by that especially because it is so cheap. I don't feel like you can find a product that works this efficiently that is also affordable nowadays.
3.8 for not working on the pillow cover
Works well but not on every fabric. It does a great job with the ottoman that has a velvet like fabric. It also worked on the couch cover which is a heavier fabric. It struggled with the pillowcase for the couch pillows; hair was dragged across the pillow.The chomchom roller pet hair remover helps pick up some fur, reducing the amount of sticky paper rollers you have to use, but it's not as amazing as some would say, it definitely depends on the fabric. It's a decent addition to help combat the fur. Don't throw out the sticky rollers yet.
Best pet hair remover... ever!
I have always had at least one dog and I'm used to coping with some dog hair, but I've never allowed dogs on the furniture and I also think that my dogs all had hair that was fairly easy to remove.Fast forward to 2012, and I am in a second marriage with 3 kids. The last "not on furniture" dog died and we got a new dog named Zara. Hubs grew up in a house that allowed dogs on the furniture so when we saw that that Zara was able to jump on the furniture we had to make a decision. We did it the good ol' American way and put it to a vote. Hubs and all three girls voted to let the dog on the furniture, much to my dismay. Worse, Zara's hair is like nothing I've seen before... once it gets onto cloth, most of the time it clings to the point that the hairs have to be pulled out individually. Vacuuming, tape-style lint rollers, a Gleener depiller, velcro balls in the washer/dryer, Bounce pet hair dryer sheets ... they all leave a lot behind.Fast forward to 2020 and not only am I at my wits' end with the dog hair, but all three kids are grown women and none of us likes that we can't sit on the furniture without having to get out a hand-held vacuum and vacuum the dog hair off the back of each others' pants.Fast forward one last time to last week when I finally decided to get this Chom Chom gadget. I am ASTOUNDED at how well it works. I think the secret is with the little squeegee on the roller. I've tried using a squeegee on carpet before and it really does work, but it is unwieldy, cannot easily be done in more than one direction, and it must be done with a vacuum nearby to gather whatever gets pulled up. Also, then the squeegee ends up with pet hair on it so it needs to be cleaned before it gets put back into service for cleaning glass. With the Chom Chom, you get the benefit of the squeegee, but since it is on the roller, it is easier to do back/forth strokes. And then as for how the dog hair gets off the roller and into the hair collection chamber... maybe it is sorcery? I have no idea how that works but IT DOES!!In full honesty, I still have to do extra strokes to get all of Zara's hair (it gets our other dog's "easy hair" on the first swipe), but the amount that the Chom Chom picks up relative to the number of passes I have to make over the fabric is unbelievable!Once the chamber is full, I use a handheld vac to remove the hair and then it is ready to go again!The only downsides that I can see are:- Some dog hair gets trapped in the side hinges of the door to the collection chamber and has to be pulled out with the fingers. It is possible that if I cleaned it before it got SO FULL, that problem would go away, but we just have SO MUCH dog hair and the gadget is so effective that I would be emptying every couple of minutes.- The button to open the collection chamber door is right where I place my thumb for strength so I tend to pop it open when I am doing the actual rolling task (I seem to have this problem with a lot of products that have a button in the center, so that might be a "me" problem.)- The chom chom is 7.5" wide which is excellent for cleaning furniture, but a narrower version would be better for clothing, especially when the dog hair gets on the clothes while they're being worn and it would be impractical to remove the clothes (e.g., if you get dog hair on your black pants when you ride in your co-worker's car to lunch during the workday.)BOTTOM LINE: I have had this little gadget for less than a week and have already recommended it to several people and wrote this review while I was looking to see if they had a narrower model for my car/office/coat closet. I wish I had owned this years ago, and I would 100% buy it again.
Worth every cent and more
Where has this been all my life?! I have a lab x staffy who sheds so much that I wonder how he isn’t bald. This just entirely got the fur off my bedding and couch in 5 minutes flat with no effort, a job that normally takes double the time with the vacuum and still leaves a lot of fur behind, or needing to go through an entire roll of a sticky lint roller. I was hesitant due to the cost, but I’m amazed it’s totally worth it. No complaints, 10 stars if I could.

Still my number #1 after four years
This thing EATS cat hair. It's the only thing that works, time and time again. I hate using single use rollers, and sticky washable ones are annoying to clean. This one works well, it's simple, it's fast, it's effective. My only complaint is that it can be tricky to use on small/cramped areas due to the size of the roller. But that negative is completely overriden by the fact that I bought this 4 years ago and it is STILL the item I reach for to get ride of cat hair
