If you have a cat you know that change is hard. Sometimes moving a chair from one side of the room to another will cause a cat enough stress to cause a sterile cystitis flair. Well, I found a puppy at a gas station and brought him home. My poor old man cat went into panic mode and started peeing outside of the box. Since I work in a vet's office, I tend to bring home the unwanted or unloved animals on a regular basis and had never had this problem before, I figured it had to be just a UTI, easy peasy. It was not just a UTI. It was weeks of testing and changing litters and medication. But nothing helped. After some research, I bought this along with L-theanine and BINGO! no more peeing outside if the box. The L-theanine calmed his frayed kitty nerves and the Cystease took down the inflammation in his stressed out little bladder. We did once daily treatment for 2 months and now that the new has worn off the puppy we were able to stop all of the medications completely. Excellent product!

I have a cat named Christopher, aka Pisstopher, who has had urinary issues since I took him in as a stray a year ago. I’ve spent over $4,000 on him for emergency vet visits, to get PU surgery, and even to get his new urethra widened after PU surgery to the size of a catheter. He’s been on the prescription diet but still struggles and I can’t figure out why. We started doing wet food only to help but that’s not economical or possible if I have to be gone overnight at any point. Plus, he was still growling and licking after eating. I got a supplement to mix into his wet food in hopes it would make eating dry food better for him (he prefers dry food anyways), and within a week he was clogged and in extreme discomfort. I had just gotten these supplements in the mail that day so I immediately opened and mixed one at a time in a little water and syringe fed two to him. For about 30-45 minutes after getting the pills he kept pushing really hard but I almost immediately noticed he was able to get small amounts out which was better than before. After about half an hour he laid down and slept for a few hours, so the calming effect works! I woke up extra early to rush him to his vet and right as I got to the bottom of the stairs I almost stepped in a puddle of urine. I’m not sure if the crystal was passed because usually I see a little blood when that happens but still, it allowed him to urinate and lower his risk for a bladder rupture. He is acting happy and bright again :)) I really hope this helps get rid of these issues forever, I hate to see him always going through this.

Last year my anxiety was kind of out of control and my stress stressed out my cat, she was peeing blood for weeks and her vet couldn't diagnose the cause of it so she told me it was likely feline idiopathic cystisis caused by stress. So I got the feliway optimum diffusers, rescue remedy drops, bought my cat extra treats and moved her water fountain to where only she would have access to it (she had been getting attacked by another cat when she would go to her fountain) but none of it stopped the blood in her urine. I somehow came across this product and figured it wouldn't hurt to try and fortunately for me it actually worked, after using up half a bottle my cat no longer peed blood. She was mildly anemic from peeing blood but this product helped the bleeding stop somehow and what was feared to be non regenerative anemia turned out to be the regenerative kind that just took months to resolve itself with the help of weekly B12 injections. I repurchased this to give whenever I knew my cat could sense my stress and anxiety and it helped keep her from getting another FIC flare up until the day she passed away.

Worked really well when my cat had urinary issues caused by stress. Capsule easy to open and sprinkle on food. It does not have a smell and if mixed in well with a little water my cat will eat it with no problem.

I wish they sold these in America it you can only get them here or get them shipped from the UK. They are the only thing that truly help my cat with stress related crystals

After 2 trips to the vet, I had pretty much given up on ever having any help for my poor cat. Each visit, the vet would give her an antibiotic shot ...do an ultrasound (no stones) and send us on our way. The result of these vet visits on my cat was a SIGNIFICANT amount of stress and throwing up, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. I came across Cystease. It has changed my little cats life. I give one capsule to her every day. She is back to feeling normal...back to her old self, playing, purring and no longer stressed.

My poor cat was so miserable he would scream when trying to potty. The controlled medication that the vet supplied did little more than make him sleep deeper. I was the point of considering the need to end his suffering.. Which was hard.. He's only 4! This stuff began helping immediately.

Product is great. Delivery, not so much. Took 29 days to receive. Ordered on the 1st, expected on the 24th, but didn't arrive until the 29th. No reason, no update to the expected delivery date. Ordered 2 and both looked pretty beat up when they arrived. Product shipped from overseas. My cat was without for about 3 weeks and her crystals returned. Now that she is back on this, her symptoms are getting better. I like how this product helps repair the lining of the bladder, which most remedies do not. My cat had so many crystals in her bladder at one point, the vet said it looked like a snow globe with the ultrasound! So you know those crystals were tearing up the lining of her bladder. When she takes this, her fur grows back on her belly, scratches and licks her belly less, and things are more normal in the litter box. So, I highly recommend the product, just don't expect to get it overnight! It may take a month! I wish Bolo old stock this locally (hint! Hint!). Product I would rate as 5 stars, packaging, sipping, and delivery, 2stars. Since this review is for the product, I will rate as 5stars, but just be aware......
My girl was peeing blood every few minutes, this cured her in less than a week!
My cat was really struggling with a urinary problem. She had suddenly started straining to pee every couple of minutes anywhere she could. The most scary symptom was blood in her urine when she did manage to pass any. With vets quoting high prices, I thought I'd try this before resorting to an expensive trip.On only day 2 of taking these there was a massive change in her behaviour. She stopped trying to go every few minutes and started using her litter tray again. She was still going more than normal, but far far less. And the blood in her urine had completely stopped as well.By day 4 she was 100% back to normal. Running around like the silly girl she is. Peeing normally, appetite restored.I'm so thankful I tried these. The vets where looking very expensive and also stressful for both me and my cat.I broke the capsules open and mixed them in with lick treats for her. She was very happy for the treats and didn't even notice she was taking medication.I really cannot recommend this enough. Brilliant product!!

This really does work when your cat has cystitis! I buy it for my cat every year or two because he seems to get it on occasion. Where he can't stop peeing and nothing comes out! Its so sad to watch because they just keep going back and forth to the litter tray! Or they have slight blood in their urine... Be careful though, you must make sure the cat is acting the same and eating and drinking as normal, you'll know the signs when your cat has had it a few times... A tip is to make tuna ice cubes too, its a way of getting more water into their system to flush out the infection. Switch to wet food too until the little fella is over it :)I went to my vet the first time and it cost me £40+ to get the tablets... Now I recognise it and buy they myself, these are the ones the vet prescribed to me. Same quantity and everything! Saves me a fortune and works with my cat every time. Noticable difference after the first dose
My cat has a history of having Crystals in his urine and recently started marking all over my apartment. I tried keeping him hydrated and relaxed but after a day his urine was pink. I ordered these and put the contents of the capsule into his wet food and he ate it up.An hour later he was sleeping on the couch belly up relaxed as can be and has only peed in his litter. Expensive but worth it!
Great product + price has skyrocketed
This is so helpful to my kitty. But the price has gone up from $25 to $42 and that’s just not fair. It’s very hard to find in Canada. Very frustrating.
