Chef Caputo 00 flour is great for making pizza and pasta. It’s very fine and makes dough soft and easy to work with. If you want good homemade Italian food, this flour is a solid choice.

I have always wanted to try "00" flour. This was my first time baking with it and I will never go back to using AP or Bread Flour. The flour is more silky and fine than cake flour. I sifted through a sieve there were no hard or thick grounds everything went through with no issues. There is only one (1) ingredient listed "wheat", this is not bleached or enriched. My daughter and coworker have gluten intolerance/allergies neither of them had a reaction from the baked goods. My coworker was honestly so excited and happy she got to endure with no side affects. The quality of the flour is worth the money, I have purchased more since my first order and will continue to do so. I do wish the flour was offered in at least 10 lbs. or more. The flour is versatile and can be used for breads as well as pastries.

this flour makes all the difference...make a tender crust that crisps up on bottom when cooking. It rises beautifully and is easy to manipulate into whatever pizza shape u like. I use 2 cups of this per xl pizza. by that i mean a pizza the size of a rectangular cookie sheet (know as a 1/2 sheet). ( i cook all my pizzas on parchment paper ontop of a cookie sheet. this helps it brown, makes easy to lift off the cookie sheet immediately after cooking or for serving. and the crust doesnt become moist or mushy from cooking on a pizza tray instead of a pizza stone. I have also used parchment paper on top of a pizza stone....making on cookie tray is so much easier.) I am not a professional or a pizza-making connoisseur. I called my favorite pizza place and asked them what they use and started ordering it myself. I buy this usually in packs of 2 or more online. I did notice they carry it now at my whole foods incase u want to try it that way. p.s. I throw my ingredients in my bread maker on Dough-mode and that makes for no work on my part other than stretching the dough into shape when ready. Recipe: 2 cups flour, 3/4 plus 2tbsp warm water, 1/4 tsp instant dry yeast, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tbsp of olive oil. Have fun!

I’m new to the homemade pizza universe, after my kids bought me a pizza oven, and I recently started using 00 flours. The texture of the dough is actually pleasant to the touch, compared with other flours. I’m not ready yet to compare different brands, but I did buy a more expensive 00 flour, and I can’t tell the difference. Maybe someday I’ll return to this review to update, and share my knowledge. Meanwhile, this flour is great.

Everything I have made with this flour has been great! We have some gluten sensitive people and they have done well with this flour. That’s their experience and I can’t attest to anyone else’s. Great quality flour!!!!

Best flour for sourdough bread!
I have tried so many different brands of organic and Italian flour, each of them seem to have different results, but this one is by far the best! It always gives me the best results when it comes to my latest favorite recipe - sourdough bread. I did use other brands (especially whole wheat) when building and maintaining my starter, but I always go back to Caputo because it does make a huge difference, in texture, flavour and manageability.
