If you're ever in a situation where your diesel wasn't treated correctly for winter conditions, adding 4oz to your tank is a safe way to guarantee that you won't suffer fuel gelling under harsh winter circumstances. Also, it should be noted that to maintain a factory Ford warranty, this is the only approved product specified in modern Ford truck manuals.

First off I am very cautious where I get fuel with my 2016 6.7 powerstroke. With the fuel bowl located on the bottom of the engine its the first to freeze when it gets really cold. This said I did have the fuel gel on me about two years ago this was the first time I used this product to get the truck to start after changing the fuel filters (precautionary measure on my part). Since then I have noticed when I use either the winter grade or summer grade motorcarft diesel additive I have noticed the truck performs less def regen cycles. My truck is for work and spends most its time in the city which is not always ideal for efficient DPF cycles. I suggest anyone else that does more deriving in the city than the highway switch to motorcraft. Ive tried Archoil fuel additive int he past and felt it performed no different than with out but with the motorcraft additive my truck is more responsive than ever since switching.

I lost the fuel system on my Ford F350 at 92,000 miles. After a 12,500.00 repair the service center suggested I use this product for lubricant of the fuel system. I have used it ever since.
