Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mould master. Once the mould master is created we use our high density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light weight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type medallions. - Medallions can be cut using standard woodworking tools to add a hole for electrical or a ceiling fan canopy. - Medallions are light weight for easy installation. - They are fully primed and ready for your paint. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this for the classic acanthus leaf and egg and dart design and deep relief. It looks original and not like so many flat reproductions you see online. The product is white, but I painted mine to match the ceiling then used rub and buff to bronze the edges. It is lightweight, which makes installation a breeze. It fits flush against the ceiling which allowed plenty of surface area for adhesive caulking. Truly one of the easiest medallions I’ve installed the date. 10 out of 10 recommend this product.

Absolutely beautiful ceiling medallion comes primed and ready to paint! I chose a warm white paint and used 3 coats. The medallion is lightweight and easy to install on your ceiling using liquid nails. This medallion really helped me achieve that antique/victorian look for less!

As advertised and looks great. I ordered a primed in white piece which I finished with an uneven, poorly applied coat of whatever I had on hand ... when I see the installed piece under the light fixture it looks great. Electrician had to make special allowance for the depth because I didn't let them know about this in advance. My costly mistake. Size was hard to decide upon initially. I used a ratio I found just researching quickly in advance of installation. Medallion size was accurate, light fixture was not. Can be hard to guess these things when ordering from online descriptions. Product here was accurately described. I am happy with it and have received many compliments on it.

This is a beautiful piece that has a depth to it. A lot of them are pretty flat, where this has the raised center design that adds a little extra. Material it’s made with is a foam like material. Was easy to use finishing nails to hold it to the ceiling. So, if you ever wanted to take it down, it would be no big deal using finishing nails instead of glue. It’s primed and nice white ceiling color. was able to hang without painting on our white ceiling. Highly recommend over the plastic definitely looks better out of the box.

Beautiful Medallion, so elegant, have had so many compliments on how beautiful it is. Adds to much elegance to the ceiling and the room it's in. This is in our Victorian Style Entrance way. Easy to put up we didn't need to glue it or anything it sits perfectly on the ceiling and the chandelier holds it in place. It's made of a heavy type of styrofoam but you would NEVER know it's styrofoam it looks so expensive. Very well made and can't beat the price.
