Great way to pass the time. Some parts are tricky but with enough time I got it put together. Looks awesome. Some parts are sharp so be careful. They recommend needle nose pliers but I found that tweezers work best. Plan on buying more.

I bought this because it looked like a fun short kit. Instead it was about an hour of nervewrackingly detaching thin sprues from sheets of paperthin metal and trying not to stab myself or bend the pieces out of shape. I needed a pair of needlenose pliers (we're talking computer style, not car tools) and even then the instructions, while clear, made it nigh impossible to put together without losing your temper.The little flags on top are the first thing you put together, and so while trying to put together the remainder of the ship, the little flags pop off. I suggest not screaming.The second half of the ship (the bottom) is easier to put together. By easy I mean you will scream less.It's done and it's on my library shelves. And I'm not making another one. EVER.

This one was almost too easy. Prefer the Black Pearl, where I had to fit the sheets onto the mast. Very pretty when done, but not much of a challenge, which is why I do these! Be sure to have needle-nosed pliers (bent-nose preferably), strong tweezers (I like the short Revlon ones) and some patience.

I enjoyed assembly of this one. It was very difficult! I got it together perfectly! Be very agile and patient! Especially when bending the tinytabs over!

Poorly Configured! Bought two. The first one, no hints on what to do first so I did masts first and installing them assembled is impossible. The second one, all carefully the ship first then masts and lines. Tried installing the sails and bent sails as picture looks, and the fixed non flexible lines didn't leave enough room to install them. The two are on my hobby table in small piles of chopped up stainless steel

I gave this to my little sister as a gift. She loved doing it. There are a lot more small pieces, and it tended to be more fragile than the others we have assembled. The stand also doesn't quite fit the ship's keel. But it is beautiful when it is finished. I'd recommend it.

Ho preso questo modellino come regalo sono rimasto un po' deluso per le dimensioni veramente ridotte non stante il prezzo non sia altissimo mi aspettavo qualcosa di più grande. La persona a cui l'ho regalato è rimasta soddisfatta e una volta montato il modellino non è niente male facile da assemblare senza l'utilizzo di strumenti particolari
VERY fiddly but extremely saitisfying
I haven't started this one yet, but I HAVE just finished the Grand Piano. I bought it in Thailand whilst on holiday and have since ordered 3 more from Bolo. These models are 'fiddly' in the extreme but if you are careful and patient the end result is very satisfying. You will need the right mini-tools, particularly needle nose pliers. Also, don't bend the metal pieces to often 'cos they'll break at the joint.
