We got this for Christmas with a PS3, we got several games with it buy Infinity is by far the most popular after a couple weeks. I have three kids; 7 year old boy, 9 year old boy and 11 year old girl and all three are pretty into this right now. There is a "toy box" area which is almost like Minecraft, I personally don't really get it, I guess I'm just old school and like to have a game with a goal, but the kids love it. There are also goal oriented worlds where you get tasks to complete, they are fun and I've played with the kids several times helping solve how to get to the tops of buildings etc...The characters are great, the all have a little different powers and you can get the little power discs that allow them to do different things. I think the most questionable part of the system right now seems to be buying the discs, they come in packs randomly (almost like baseball cards or something), you don't know which discs you're getting when you buy the pack. We've gotten a couple and already gotten a couple duplicates. But they are only about 5 bucks each so I guess it's okay.Overall this was a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone with young kids up to tweens.

To start, before I bought this, I read a TON and watched a LOT of videos regarding this game before I bought it because I wasn't sure how the approach would work. Let me tell you, this is a PHENOMENAL game and one of the best that Disney has ever put out. Imagine all the movie inspired video games that come out during film release meshed into one game, they all have incredible gameplay, monstrous open world capability, and a toy box full of endless treasures. Not only do you get to have a massive open world for certain films, known as playsets, but also getting to create your own fun by combining all of the potential aspects in Toy Box mode. The fun and creativity is literally infinite!!! A MUST have for Disney fans or anyone that wants HOURS and HOURS of gameplay and replay value. It's the video game I feel has given the most bang for my buck in a long time! THANK YOU DISNEY!!!!!!!!!

I was a little skeptical at first on getting this game set for our 5 year old but after playing it for 10 minutes I knew it was a smart buy. All my daughter wants to do now is play Disney's Infinity game.The game has several modes that will satisfy the needs of most games out there and will capture the imagination of even young gamers. We like to play trough the included "Play Set" which has Monsters University, The Incredibles, and Pirates of the Caribbean but the creative modes are also great fun.Disney has done a good job of keeping things interesting by introducing new characters that you can purchase that all have unique talents and skills. The Frozen set with Anna and Elsa was a big hit in our house.The only downside to the game is that it's extremely easy to get addicted to collecting the Figures and the Power Disc sets. You've been warned :)On a side note, if you're getting this game for a young gamer, be prepared to play along with them. You'll have just as much fun as they do.

Bought this for the wife. She loves to play it. Her only major complaint is that there doesn't seem like much value in buying additional characters for the sets as there is no real extra missions. The toy box is not very exciting as she does not want to build anything. Wreck it ralph has no play set (BOOO!!!) Multiplayer is vertical screen split, would prefer horizontal. Multiplayer is also limited, must use characters from the same set to play missions, otherwise you're just wandering around toy boxes. As of right now I think there are only sets for Cars, Toy Story, Incredibles, Pirates, Monsters University, and Lone ranger. Frozen, Wreck it Ralph and Mickey are stuck in the toy box. Waiting for Disney to allow you to download "Add ons" for more adventures.

This was a gift for my 10 year old Grandson. He is over the top in love with this game. Graphics are great, works well and very entertaining. He has played it with his 6 year old cousin and his older sister and they love it. Good age range on this.Lot's of figures and "add on's" to buy as well. I know what to buy for Christmas and I won't wait long because it may become about supply and demand. We have all been there before. Bolo price was very competitive with other suppliers and believe me I check them all. From Kmart to Disney Store. With free shipping and no driving around I too am a happy customer.

As a father of two young impressionable boys, my job as a parent includes finding material suitable for developing minds. With the world moving towards sex, violence, and sexualized violence it is nice to find a game that I can let my kids play without seeing zombies, explicit material, or inappropriate content. Disney has provided an open world experience that my kids can play with however they choose. Each "world" consists of a main game experience that could easily be knocked out on a Saturday. The genius of this game is the "Toy Box" game mode. You can download user made games and areas that are crafted by Disney as well as gamers. My kids had a blast chasing each other on elephants as well as driving cars around the game world. The initial three worlds will keep your kids occupied while you decide which "extras" you decide is more towards their interests. Great game, and more importantly, great replay value. With the add-ons I think that this game will be relevant, and popular with my boys, for quite some time.

I got Wii not PS3 :(
I received Wii version not PS3 which I ordered. Couldn't return it cause I sent it overseas immediately without checking :( very disappointed. How could they have gotten it wrong. It says PS3 in the picture here and the box.
