The media could not be loaded. My friends and I got to talking about supertasters and thought this would be fun to try together. Several people didn't taste it, but my brother and I got the strong bitter taste. The flavor took a second to register, but it did go away quickly. The test strips were cheap, fast, and fun. It's worth a try if you're curious -- just go in without expectations! (If you think this product "doesn't work," tasting nothing means it DID work, and your result is negative on the supertaster gene. Don't shoot the messenger by leaving a one-star review.)

Tested my biology class with these. Various responses from non - tasters to totally disgusting. Even a few thought or war pretty good.Fun addition to Typical PTC tasting.

Used this as post of a genetics unit with PTC strips. The kids really loved the activity and it helped kids realize you either have the gene to taste it or you don't
