I am SO glad I came across this coconut oil. I use coconut oil as deep conditioner for my hair, as moisturizer for my body, for cooking food, for making sugar scrub, and so on. It works so well for all of those things, but it can get quite expensive. However, this coconut oil saved the day for me. You get an entire gallon of oil for a great price--a fraction of the price as other brands of oil that come in this size. This says it's popcorn oil, but it's still just completely coconut oil so it doesn't matter.This Christmas I decided to make some peppermint sugar scrub for all of the women who came to our Christmas party. I knew I was going to need a lot of oil and I didn't want to have to pay a lot. I bought this gallon for that purpose in particular. It worked perfectly and so many of the women have asked me what I put in the sugar scrub that made their hands so soft and smooth. A big part of that was this coconut oil and I told them so.Coconut oil is hard, kind of like shortening, in its solid state, but when you warm it in your hands or over heat it will turn into liquid (Think of butter, I guess. It does the same thing.) When this is mixed with sugar to make sugar scrub, it doesn't get hard. This will last me for a very long time even after making all of those scrubs. A little goes a long way when it comes to your skin. Don't be afraid of the popcorn oil label because this is strictly just coconut oil sold under a different label. It's way cheaper this way but it's still great quality. I will be purchasing this from now on in order to save money. I love it!If you haven't tried coconut oil for different purpose beyond cooking, you really should! My skin is baby soft all over my body because of this and it makes a great deep conditioner. I get so many compliments on my skin softness and the health of my hair (which is long and curly-wavy). I have been using it on my daughter since she was born instead of baby lotion or baby oil. It can also be used for diaper rash medicine or prevention, among other things. There are over 100 uses for this stuff, so you should read about it and make use of it. It's great! I've already got other people hooked on it. P.S. You can use coconut oil on your face without worrying about breakouts.

I like the taste this coconut oil gives our office popcorn. The package is secure and this oil seems to outperform and of the grocery store cooking oils for popcorn making.The only issue is we work in a cold office and it stays solid but my coworker came up with an idea that we use an ice cream scooper or similar instrument and that works wonders on keeping the mess down while still making this functional to leave in the original container.Second option is to melt the whole tub and serve into ice trays then freeze and store in work freezer.

I was hoping to get the taste of movie theatre butter with this product. It didn't happen. It still does have a pleasant taste when i use it to pop but not what i expected.
