The DWE6411K 1/4 Sheet Palm Sander Kit has a 2.3 amp motor that delivers 14,000 OPM. The separate counterweight reduces vibration and along with the rubber overmold grip provides comfortable sanding. A shorter design allows users to get closer to the work surface and the one-handed locking dust bag attaches securely to the sander to aid in dust collection or the user can attach the sander directly to the DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors. The new paper clamp holds sandpaper securely during sanding.

This is a great sander. I bought it because it has the ability to connect to a vacuum hose. I had to buy an adaptor separately. It works great and does a good job. This is the second DeWalt 1/4 sheet sander that I have owned. They are hard to beat in my opinion. The storage bag that comes with it is just okay. Not nearly as good as blow-molded case though, like the one that came with my first sander.

This DEWALT sander is a beast! It's got plenty of power to tackle any sanding job, from rough shaping to fine finishing. The variable speed control is super helpful for adjusting to different materials and grits. It's also built tough and feels really well-balanced in your hand. I've been using it for a while now and it's held up great. Highly recommend it to any serious DIYer or professional.

Had one 20 years ago and no idea what happened to it. I used this one the day I got it to fix some doors that stick. I could of used something better but had a new toy and using this didn't take long to remove the old wood that had expanded on the end.Compared to the old Dewalt I had this had less vibration that reaches your hand and a little quieter. Dust collection is a new thing compared to my old one and it work pretty well. I just used the included bag and no vacuum attached. I took a 1/8th an inch off the end of two doors with just a single sheet of quality 3m paper.Great sander and I will be using it to completely refinish all of my doors. But I will recommend you to always use quality sandpaper and save yourself a lot of time and frustration.Others said they had issues with how the dust bag connected and I didn't have any issues. And I doubt I'd buy their attachment for a vacuum, I'd just make my own. Also it won't collect all the dust but it will collect most of it. Depending on the type of wood and or paint use a face mask and eye protection.

This sander is easy to use and not heavy to hold. It is great for small jobs. I am a senior so the ease of use is great. I have done a lot of house and church painting (inside) and usually have only small areas to sand that I had had to spackle. I love the wire mesh sandpaper too as it lasts soooo much longer than regular sandpaper. It is nice not to have to stop and change the sandpaper so often.

I've already used this to sand down a dresser, and it made the whole project pretty straightforward and easy. It was easy to clip in the sheets on sandpaper and get going. My only complaint is that the dust doesn't always go into the bag attachment. Most of the time it just flies out the side.

I bought this to replace my 22 year old craftsman sander that I dropped on concrete and broke it .it's well made and performs very nice , just what I would expect from DeWalt . A simple but nice carry bag came with it , nothing fancy ,just a nice bag to tote the sander in or store in a cabinet.

I got this for my BF as a part of his birthday gift and he just used it to sand the whole outside of our sunroom in preparation to paint it and HE LOVED IT. It performed well, was easy to use, a great value and the size made it so easy to work with!

I have owned this item for a couple of months, and it sat in the opened box waiting for me. First off I had to find the space to set up and begin sanding the necessary items to help complete several projects around the house , the house that I have been building for 12 years now. I love to refurbish old wood and we had an old dresser (solid mahogany) that had been damaged by weather and all the fine veneer had just dropped of but left solid pieces of what must be mahogany. I am using these pieces as window sills around my home. However, each one needs carful restoration and sealing before being put in place. Just today I pulled a piece of this fine wood out and set up the sander and began sanding. I have been battling an old hand sander for some time, and every time I would set it up and start sanding the sand paper would come loose. So I was pleasantly surprised when this new sander held the paper firmly and allowed me to finish the project in short order. Also the dust catcher worked reasonable well too. Also, it wasn't unreasonable loud or hard to hold. I didn't break or tear a single sheet of sand paper while I was sanding. It was also easy to load the paper and with the double spring arms in the rear of the sander for the paper retention, it is kept securely in place. All in all ….so far I am very happy with its first use. I hope it lasts for years because it seems to take a long time to finish a house once your living in it.

El sellado del equipo, es el correcto para evitar polvo en el interior del equipo, salvo la ventilación, considero que es debido a eso que calienta un poco más de lo normal para el tiempo de uso, pero es claro que tampoco es para exceder tiempos altos. en general un equipo de 9 a 10 para tareas en casa...

It does the job as dewalt always does. Really like the fact, this unit was made in Mexico, the quality is far superior to that of same brand name made in China. This has already outlasted our made in China Dewalt sander. Glad to see you have upped your game and brought back a quality product.

Very good tool
I bought it for menial housework (deck, some wood polishing, smoothing steps corners, etc.) and it did its job without any problem.I find it light and performant, in terms of usage of the sandpaper use and dust retention. After many uses, the rubber-like pad on the bottom started to wear in the corners, something that's normal wear and tear. Easy to control the sanding operation (no risk of accidental oversanding).For the ratio price/performant, hard to beat.

Buen aparato, me gusto mucho y se ve de muy buena calidad, la probé con una puerta que necesitaba renovar el barniz y la verdad se me facilito mucho el trabajo con esta máquina, es muy versátil, lija muy bien en espacios difíciles, no se calienta, diría que es incansable, ni si quiera hay que hacer presión para que lije, su precio es excelente, la compraría de nuevo sin dudarlo.
