Stunning quality at this price point. I bought it as a backup but have moved it to my first go to. This reel beats $70-$100 reels by a long shot. I noticed this company has mostly 4 and 5 star ratings and now I know why.

The media could not be loaded. Good smooth reel for the money. I tried it for the first time today it has no problem reeling in channel catfish, bass, and bluegill. I put it on a bass pro 200 series rod.

I have had name brand reels , costing twice as much ,that are not as nice as this reel. For under 20$ for a 3000 sized reel of this quality. Impossible to beat. I have mine paired with a 7' medium action spinning rod and use it for drop shots,finesse cranking ,jerk baits, Ned rigs and more finesse type technics. I have landed several bass over 3 lbs and one over 5 lbs with this reel with no problems. Cast flawlessly with 10 lb floro. I gave this thing a good work out last summer. Landing well over 50 bass with it. No hiccups whatsoever. Worked great for pan fishing as well. In this price range,you will be hard pressed to find something better.

I had to add shim washers because it was spoiling unevenly. Also the reverse gear takes a while to engage (it spins a little before it locks). Its not an instant stop after you pause reeling. Other than that, it's fine.

Order from that maker for a few years. Different size reels. Never, never let me down. Better than Rapala reels, few bucks less too. I.e. I like the push button to fold the handle on the DK2000. Handles could b a tiny bit smaller on the 1+2000 reel. But excellent for ice rods. Plenty of BBs, what a smoooth movement... Cant say anything bad, sorry Rapala.... 🇨🇦

Very good reel for the price, we'll see how it holds up over time though. The one came with damaged plastic, and they would not give me a refund or replace it. It doesn't affect the function as its just for looks, so its not a big deal.*Update* Went catfishing and caught a couple big ones with no issues. The drag is easy to adjust and works very well. I was worried about my rod breaking but no concerns with the reel- it worked amazing!
