Easy to heat up and much healthier than eating white rice. Taste as I expected. Especially those who have blood sugar issues. This kind of rice is for you. And I trust this company that I grew up with in Korea. This is very convenient for having my pantry on a busy day. Try it!! You will be hooked up.

My wife said that the rice was ok but the packaging had a bad gas smell to it that was present in the rice too. We aired out the boxes but the smell was still present.

Honestly, I love this rice. Not sure what smell the other reviews were talking about but this doesn’t emit any smell (have done multiple orders). I love that these are easy to prepare, open it a little in the corner and just pop into the microwave. I prefer to just pop it in for 1:30 instead of the 2 minutes instructed, specially if I’m gonna end up reheating the other half sometime later. To those not familiar with this purple rice, it is a mix of white rice and black grain rice. The white rice has a soft fluffy texture but expect the black rice grains to be more earthy and grainy. Nonetheless, this is one of the best quality ready to eat rice I’ve tried (I prefer this over the other popular brand). Definitely worth the buy.
