Mac Makeup has always been one of my top 3 favorite brands. I've been a huge RuPaul fan since I was a teenager. I used to be one of those that only spent the extra money on the high-end foundations, concealers, and mascaras, thinking that all lipsticks and liners were pretty much the same quality. OMG how I was so wrong! The difference between mac lipsticks and drug store brands cannot be compared on the same scale. I am a professional freelance makeup artist and have pretty much tried everything, and my go-to lipstick brand has always been mac. You can't go wrong. Their colors are highly pigmented and not over drying, and they stay on for a long time.This color can pretty much go with anything. I've used it with a number of lipliners and it blends effortlessly into pretty much any shade I use. This is a good neutral staple to keep in your makeup bag. It has a buildable neutral coverage with a slight shine. Depending on the occasion, I often like to top it with some mac lip glass to add a more luxurious look and shine to my lips, especially for evening events.Looks great on all skin types. Although I find it pops more with a fairer skin complexion. A very versatile color.

I was worried that this lipstick might be too vibrant for me to wear on a daily basis. But I was wrong. It is such a beautiful color. It looks a little different on the lips vs in the tube. I feel like it’s a little bit toned down on the lips vs in the tube, if that’s possible. You could wear this color anywhere and for any occasion. It also feels so good on the lips. I have never bought a lipstick this expensive before but so far I think it was totally worth the extra cash. Now I know why MAC gets such rave reviews.

I really like the color of this particular Mac because it’s subtle and understated yet it has a hint of warmer tones. Especially going forward into fall, you can either add a cool or warmer lip gloss on top of it to make it stand out or to be more understated A definite keeper, to my basics collection of lipsticks
