I ordered this watch because the battery on my old Fossil watch was starting to go and it proved difficult to replace the last couple of times, I guess because it's just so old. I didn't feel like dealing with it this time and also wanted something easier to read. I was wary about the elastic band on this watch, afraid it would "bite" as it expanded and retracted but I really liked the size and overall look of it. It looks similar to my Fossil watch with the few differences I was looking for.Well, the minute it arrived and I put it on my wrist I was delighted. As others have said, it is roomy and it slides up and down my wrist as easily as a bangle bracelet would. My wrist measures 6.25 inches just above the bone. If I want it to stay put, I just slide it farther up my forearm. The elastic doesn't really bite but I think if I had links removed to make it smaller, it might. My Fossil watch also fit a bit loosely - I prefer a watch not to be confining. The Fossil had a clasp and it would sometimes come undone on its own and the watch would fall off. The elastic on the new Timex has the advantage of fitting comfortably loose but never falling off. It's not nearly so big as to sail over my hand. I think this watch would be comfortable on a great range of wrist sizes.As for being able to read it, it's a pleasure. The big white face is clear as day and the light works easily by pressing the button in. So far it's keeping time well, it's only been a few days. Overall, the watch is not so big that it has a mannish or boyfriend look. It's just right. It's feminine enough to definitively look like a ladies watch but it's sturdy/big enough to be versatile, comfortable and *cool* looking. At least to me.I love this thing and it's the best thing I've bought in a long time. Saving money by buying something basic to replace something more expensive (I was debating buying a new Fossil) and then falling in love with the cheaper item rather than just being *able to deal with it* is great. When I ordered this thing I thought, "Eh, it'll do I hope." But now I prefer it.Don't keep thinking about it. Just buy the watch. I love the two tone color, by the way. That was what my Fossil watch was too.

Absolutely love this watch. The mixed gold and silver looks great with any type of jewelry and can go either casual or dressy. The band was too big for my small wrist but it was easy to adjust following the clear directions that came with the watch. I’ve always had timex watches, they last forever and the indeglo feature is fantastic for viewing the time in the dark. Highly recommend !

I clicked on "buy it again" because I've been buying this watch every couple of years or so for a long time. However, the watch that came this time is a little different--the face and watchband were bigger, as though sized for a man, even though the product details say "women's." I decided to keep it anyway and took it to a watch repair shop to shorten the band. The workers in the shop disagreed on whether it's a man's or a woman's watch, so maybe it's unisex? The shortening cost $20, so add that to the cost of the watch. But it still like it for the Indiglo feature, stylish design, easy to read face.

So many negative reviews that I almost didn't purchase this watch. That would have been a BIG mistake. I love this watch. I love the size of the dial. It is perfect for a woman. As I grow older, my eyes are becoming dimmer. The numbers are almost like 3D. I don't need my glasses to tell the time, unlike my other two watches. The best feature is the Indiglo backlight. I instantly fell in love when I pushed the dial button. It lights up. And, it's a beautiful light blue color. Only one small problem... when I first put on the watch, the band latched onto my skin. Oh, boy did it hurt. I immediately removed the watch. I began stretching the band. After five minutes of pulling open and close, it fits great. Hey, it's a Timex! Hopefully, it will take a licking and keep on ticking.

Very disappointed. I have always bought times watches but this one is crap. I bought in January 2025. It stopped working in June. Changed battery and it wired great for a week. Now I never know when it’s working. The cheap ones from China lasted longer and did more. DISAPPOINTED!!!
3.0 out of 5 stars Nice watch but nearly impossible to adjust the length of watchband
The watch appears to be working fine, into month 2 of wearing every day. The stretchy band needed shortening-- my husband is fairly adept at doing that, has always done this for me in the past but this one not so easy -- had a kajillion tiny (and I mean TINY) little u-shaped connectors that connected the links together that were almost impossible to work with. Much struggling, frustration and cussing was involved so I cannot recommend this watch unless you want to pay a professional to do this struggle for you. I'd give the watch 5 starts if it weren't for that.

I love this watch. It is beautiful, easy to read, and comfortable, with a slim profile. I did have to take it to a jeweler to adjust the band. When it is close to my ear I can hear the ticking of the movement. It has kept time accurately, and is worth the price.

Deshalb wieder bestellt.

Strap broke
My aunt liked watch but strap broke without realizing and she lost it.

Fantastic women's watch, the watch itself is so easy to read....light could be helpful but not necessary because of the face size. Even though you can read it well, it is very lady like. I never take it off unless going into the shower, even though it's waterproof....lol 10+
Perfect
This watch is perfect. Bought for my elderly mother in law. She wanted a white back ground with easy to read black numbers. The dial on this is perfect as it has no fancy distractions and the size of face is large but not too big that it looks or feels odd on her very small wrist. It is lightweight. It has a classic look, but not too much like a man’s watch (she like more dainty/fancy Womens watches, but was ok with this one). Band works great for arthritic fingers as it’s easy to stretch and links can be taken out by jeweller easy enough to customise fit. And it keeps the time (not out of sync). Overall my fussy mother in law loves it, and I am very pleased with it
