After much research, Dr. Tobias was rated very highly for its purity and actually containing the total amount of mg it advertises. Many products contain metals and other fillers that decrease the true amt of mg. MSM must be taken in the higher dose along with the glucosamine in order to be effective. I’m grateful for the veggie caps or would not have been able to swallow tablets or hard caplets. Also, because of gastric issues and absorption into the body I take 2/morning, 2/afternoon and 1 in the early evening. Five caps a day and this is 48 days worth so it’s a good deal for the price. The first day, I took all 5 in the morning which resulted in upset stomach and a headache. Those can be side effects but once I spaced them out....no problem. Be sure and take with food. It’s only been a week but I can tell it’s working in my bones/joints as the pain with movement is much less.

This joint supplement worked quickly to my surprise, I actually noticed a difference the next day. I used to take Chondroitin, Glucosamine & MSM years ago using other supplement brands and they always worked, but usually I didn't notice a difference until after a few weeks of use. When I was in the Army, I was told that I had Patella Femoral Syndrome, so basically my knees were shot from overuse of crazy Physical Training sessions. I hadn't used joint supplements for about 4 or 5 years now, I just dealt with any pain and limited my leg workouts accordingly. I decided to increase my leg workouts and up the intensity, however, my knees were getting super sore. I had to try something because I was not going to pop pain killers everyday and I did not want my fitness goals to suffer.Anyway, as soon as the Dr Tobias' supplements arrived, I took them right away and the next day, the soreness was gone. They haven't been sore since taking the supplements and I have been taking them for about 18 days now and I haven't decreased my workouts or intensity. We just had a crazy blizzard 3 days ago and after shoveling 33 inches of snow for several days, my back would be sore and stiff by the end of the day, but the next day, my back would be fine with no pain killers or heating pads involved. I know if I wasn't taking the Dr. Tobia's Hip Knee & Joints supplements, my back would be sore right now. My knees have a very noticeable crunch, so I was hoping that that went away too, but the crunch is still there; I have my hopes up high to get rid of that annoying loud crunch :-)

I honestly couldn't tell you if these Dr. Tobias MSM Glucosamine Chondroitin pills work better than any other brand; however, I can say that they seem to have the same size and weight as others I've tried. They are large, lightweight capsule pills that are easier to swallow than a heavier weight pill of a similar size, probably because I don't feel them as much as they go down. If you can't swallow pills well, then all glucosamine etc. supplements are likely to cause an issue.As to whether this kind of supplement works, I've found that it makes a slight difference in my knee joints, which get a lot of wear and tear from playing tennis. They aren't miracle pills, but they do seem to make a difference in as soon as a week. That said, I've had the same results with other brands. I wish I could get this again. But unable to due to my financial situation but as soon as I am able I'm going back fir all Dr Tibuas' products! No pain or at least it's breathe. To me any ways.

There is no denying the product works. It's does, my pain was immediately eased after taking it. However, there was one side effect. I got HEADACHES! Be careful, just a warning, not every product agrees with you. I started taking it and soon realized that I was waking up in the mornings with a headache. I stopped taking the product and other vitamins to do a test. I took this product by itself after a few days to make sure, lol and behold, it's the culprit! Again the product really works but for me, the headaches were a sign of something not right for me with it. Note, I took less than the recommended dosage and then I took the full dosage. Same effect. Just be careful, be aware of what your body is telling you when taking any product.

I been having pain in my knees for last 2 years, last December I went to my doctor office and she gave me 3 sessions of injections in each knee, very painful and they charge my insurance 1,800$ Doctor said the pain will be gone for a year and I will have to come back every year for more injections...feel pretty good for 3 months and pain came back, I saw at Bolo Dr. Tobias Hip Knee & Joints supplement, I decided to try it, what a surprise pain was gone in a few days and I stop taking the supplement for a couple days and pain came back and again start taking the supplement again and pain is gone, now I will not stop using, I highly recommend this product, Help me with my pain and I save money and a doctor visit.

***THIS IS MY OPINION AFTER 3 DAYS OF USE ***So I decided to go with this supplement due to the ratings and that it's not horribly expensive. I'm glad I did. The reason I wanted glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM was because I had a recent injury to my shoulder that I want to heal as fast as possible so I can train fully again. Now I'm not sure if it was this supplement or the timing of my recovery process but ever since I've been taking these it feels like my injury is making faster progress. Not only that but all my other joints feel better as well. I'm not much of a water drinker but I'm going to drink plenty to see if it will aid this like it says.All in all I'm happy I got this, I'll continue to get it and I recommend it to anyone. Quality in my book!
