I've had Type 2 Diabetes for two years. About 6 months ago my toes felt tingly, were painful and numb. The pain came on at night, keeping me from sleeping. Each night I was popping a variety of Advil, Aleve and Tylenol along with 303's. This was causing lots of stomach issues and only helped somewhat. I bought CBD oil and smoked weed. I drank with the hope of diminishing the pain or at the very least knocking me out so I could get some rest. Can't tell you how many 3am's I was seeing. The nighttime pain seemed to be a whole body pain. I'm doing great with my diabetes meds and my numbers have gone down significantly. I've lost almost 70 pounds. This whole diabetes thing is new and frightening, my Dad had it and didn't really pay attention to his meds or his docs. Having this really intense foot pain scared me and I didn't bring it up to my doc, but I will at our next meeting. I've been reading about how bad inflammation is for your health and thinking that might be my issue, so I looked online for something that could help. I found an article from Healthline, "6 Supplements that fight inflammation". First on the list was Alpha Lipoic Acid. I remembered when I had a knee issue 5 years ago (ended up having a partial knee replacement), that I had purchased a number of things I thought might help with the pain and inflammation. I found a bag of supplements, one of which was Natures Truth Alpha Lipoic Acid. Also on the Healthline list was Tumeric Curcumin and B12. These were also in the bag. In my desperate need for relief of pain and despite these bottles being years old ... and without first calling my doc ... I took the suggested doses of these supplements, all with food as recommended. That night I had no pain. I was stunned. This was about 3 weeks ago. Since then I have continued to take the supplements, as recommended, and have seen great relief of the neuropathy pain. I did go to a doc at my facility, one that specializes in feet. He had written an article about Copaiba, an essential oil that could help with neuropathy pain. I showed him the Healthline article and showed him my homework list of what I was taking. He said I was doing everything right, taking the correct supplements and suggested another thats on the Healthline list, Spirulina. I've learned that all of the supplements I am taking not only work on pain caused by inflammation, but they also have other benefits for people with diabetes. My message here is that Natures Truth Alpha Lipoic Acid is working for me. It offers the right dose for me. The price is better than anything else that is similar that I've seen online and in the stores. I just ordered another bottle, which arrived in 2 days, which is great since I was down to my last two capsules! So pleased that this Natures Truth supplement is still around.

I am giving this product 4 stars for the price.This product is twice as much in the local drug stores. Unfortunately though the product did not help my Nerve Pain in my arms and legs. However, I am uncertain of whether the Pain is from Diabetes since it does not meet the typical criteria. If that makes a difference.
