This pan is lightweight, well made, designed well for easy handling, quick cleanup and wonderful for making Tamagoyaki and other iterations of the basic and fancy omelette, great for a few slices of bacon, a quick grilled sandwich, creating interesting non-grain flatbreads, the list goes on. I use this all the time. I wish I had known about it earlier.I was of two minds, wondering if I should get a cast iron one or this lighter, nonstick type. No regrets.

I got this pan to replace another tamagoyaki pan that i lent out and never got back. I didn't really have any expectations for this pan because I got it as a last minute replacement but I've got to say, this pan is really good. The non-stick quality is better than I expected, when heated and lightly oiled properly, this pan doesn't really stick. The tamagoyaki does stick a little (that may just be user error) but things like fried eggs (like sunny side up) just lift off the pan. The heat distribution is really good, i haven't had any hot or cold spots. The durability is also pretty good, even though it has a few scratches caused by metal utensils being used on the pan, the non-stick quality is still pretty good, it only sticks a small bit. Cleaning is a breeze (normally) I just go over the pan with a paper towel to catch excess oil on the pan and in the corners (not necessary but I don't like the black oil/grease stains on my sponge) and lightly clean using a soapy sponge. One thing that I will emphasize with this pan is do not use cooking spray (like PAM) on it! It will form black crusty-like film that will be really difficult to remove and it will just build up over time. Also, this pan does take some getting used to. In the beginning until you know how to properly heat and oil the pan, your food will probably stick. Be patient, stick to it and keep trying and eventually you'll get the hang of it. After my 12-inch T-Fall pan, this is one of my favorite pans to use.

I just received this item so the four stars as I can't speak to its durability over time. Regardless, I am very happy with the pan for its size and performance. It is useful for a single serving of hash browns and meat. It is best for a perfect omelette that can be rolled or folded. It cooks the eggs uniformly which I find most useful. A definite plus addition to my kitchen.

First use resulted in perfect rolls, unlike various attempts in round pans. Finished 卵焼き 5, non-stick 5, rolled a 4-egg 卵焼き perfect size for 2 portions cut unto 3 rolls each, very easy to hand-wash 5, overall 5.

This pan is amazing! My partner and I ordered this so we could more accurately make tamagoyaki, however this pan works amazing for any egg type. Fried, scrambled, omelet. Every egg turns out amazing in this pan. We are always struggling to find decent nonstick pans that don't lose that non-stick quality after just a few uses and this pan meets that criteria! I've never been happier with a nonstick pan before. Literally nothing sticks to this and it has no evidence of degrading quality after the dozens of uses we have put this pan through already. Also lightweight and easy to store.This pan is fun to use for crepes, pancakes, shredded cabbage pancakes. Anything as long as you don't mind it being rectangular. Also the small one is literally the perfect width to cook hotdogs in which is satisfying for my OCD habits.Love it! And definitely will be buying more pans from this brand

Fan de cuisine du Monde et Asiatique, je suis ravie de cette poêle qui vaut largement son prix, pas excessif et amplement justifié !Je l’ai achetée en grande taille, parfaite pour une omelette roulée à la Japonaise pour deux (je mets environ 5 œufs moyens de plein air et labellisés bleu-blanc-cœur, et varie la garniture : épinards, fromage, légumes, dashi en poudre…) !! Elle atteint vite la température souhaitée, a un revêtement en téflon épais et de qualité qui ne raye pas, est compatible tous feux (gaz, induction…), répartit parfaitement la chaleur en ses 4 coins, n’attache pas même avec une quantité très modérée d’huile, est facile à nettoyer, légère mais robuste, esthétique, d’une prise en main et d’une préhension aisées…Sa profondeur est minime donc pour préparer ou réchauffer des plats en sauce elle n'est pas idéale. Mais je l’utilise de plein d'autres manières: pour faire griller du bacon, des steaks, des asperges (la forme carrée prend là tout son sens), des œufs au plat, une portion individuelle de riz de la veille sauté au kimchi, des dosas Indiens, des pancakes, des gyozas… Bref, elle est performante et polyvalente, et permet des usages plus que variés en plus de présentations et formes originales (une crêpe carrée c'est super rigolo pour les enfants!). Un gros coup de cœur, je suis fan et la recommande sans réserve !!
Excellent pan, needs extra care but well worth it for eggs.
I purchased mine about 3y ago. The non-stick is holding strong but I use mine to cook eggs and solely that, and I only use soft silicone spatula on it and always wash by hand with a soft sponge. Nothing sticks, it is an excellent pan not only for the Japanese style omelette but also for sunny side up eggs or even scrambled eggs. I also have a silicon mat that I put on top of it so cook eggs more evenly, it is truly great.
