I bought this for my son who DJs. I asked him to tell me what he likes and dislikes about the case so that I can write a review and this is what he told me: The case is really really thick. I never worry about the xdjs getting damaged in travel. The bottom half is perfect because it allows you to Dj while still having it in half of the case- which can be useful for making the xdjs higher so you don’t have to bend over as much, and it adds that extra layer of security. The knobs on the corners of the case make it pretty impossible to balance in such a way. Like it doesn’t “sit” or “click” well. It’s more in danger of falling or sliding- but I’ve played a set with the setup in the photo and everything was fine- it’s just important to know it’s not the most secure set up. A big big con is that this case does not have wheels. It’s soooo heavy and it only has one little hand carry handle. It’s very difficult to transport. So all in all it’s perfect for protecting the xdjs, great versatility for set up with the xdjs in the case, not very good for mobility and transportation- however I would never worry about the xdjs if the case fell over because it’s so thick. My heart would definitely stop if that ever happened though.
