This shelf was easy to assemble and only took about 30 minutes to an hour at most. It is cute and functional. Our daughter loves sitting on it to read and it's the perfect height to fit under the window. It's a great storage solution while not taking up too much space.

I bought this when our sling bookshelf (also pictured, also by Kidcraft) could no longer accommodate the number of books we had. It was easy to put together with manual tools, and the inclusion of extra hardware was a nice touch.Quality is similar to Ikea, which is to be expected for the price. Once put together, it seems sturdy enough and should last for some time.The nook area is the perfect size for my 2-year old, and the bookshelf holds quite a lot of books. The bottom shelves are shorter than the top ones, but can accommodate the standard size Dr. Seuss hardbacks with some space to spare.

We just put this on up. So my review might not be fair. I will come back by end of a month to post an update.So far, the bookcase is cute. Its perfect for my 3yo its definitely not for a 5+Its tiny.Its not made of the best wood. But it works. We got it for 69usd. I see now it is 91usd. I would not have bought it for 91usd as there are similar or better ones for the same price.The regular 10x10 bins do not fit in the cube spaces.I managed to some how put in 2 of the 10x10 bins on the end spaces. The middle 2 spaces are smaller and there is no way you can fit a 10x10 bin there.So far im pleased with it. Works for us. My 3yo and 9mo seem to like it quite a bit too.Hope to come back in few months to post an updated review. . إن شاءاللهEDITIts been a month. Still good.The only complaint i have it that the seat cushion is not removable so im not sure how to wash it.Still love the product tho.

I honestly love this little piece of furniture in my daughter's room. She is 4 going on 5 and fits in it perfectly. It's the perfect size. The cubbies are a tad bit smaller than I would like but I found the perfect wicker baskets to fit inside. They fit the perfect amount of books and she sits in the little chair and eats her snacks, plays with her toys, or watches her tablet videos. It's a good sturdy heavy quality. I would recommend it.

Whatever your religion is seriously get on your knees and pray for patience before you start.Got this for my 5 and 3 year old for Christmas. It was on sale. Lets start by saying I wish I would have read the reviews.Lets start with the building part. They dont differentiate in the pictures which sides are the brown sides and which are the white sides so after it was together I had to paint over the brown parts to match the library because it assembled wrong.Then I got about 2/3 of the way through and realized the screws were really made from Satan himself. They are supposed to just easily go inside and turn the bolt to hold it in place. Ha. Haha. Hahaha to this.3.5 hours before I gave up and used wood glue to make sure it is stable enough.Then when you assemble the VERY last step, you realize the bolt and screw they give you do not work on a SLANTED wood piece. 2 bolts stripped because you cant get the screw into the bolt because of the angle. So Idk what Im going to do about this because its very unsturdy.On top of it it just turns to dust when youre building it. Seriously dust everywhere from the wood just being cheap as ever.It took me and my boyfriend (a construction worker) 4 hours to finish this piece of crap.It definitely will not fit my 5 year old and theres no way my 3 year old is relaxing comfortably on it.Save your money or look for something that has better reviews. I would 100% return it if I didnt paint it (which I was doing when my bf realized the screws dont work). And it will only hold maybe 10 large books. So if you have a big library for your kids good luck.

I needed a place to house my daughter's books and this is a great space saver and gives her a special place made just for her to read her books. It comes with cushions and is the perfect height and width for a 5 year old with a bit of room to grow. I love that it's not your typical bookshelf. I really couldn't be happier with it. It is really good quality and my husband had no problems putting it together.

The first picture is of what I ordered. The second one is what I put together. Ridiculous. It is still cute, but now the plan to get smaller storage cubes is shot to crap because it will fit a 10.5 cube lengthwise, but the height is too short to fit it. I am highly agitated that hand-tightening screws also broke the surface of the top of the finish (see final picture). Keeping it but very disappointed. Do better Bolo and KidKraft.

Me encantó el mueble, a los niños les fascina como rincón de lectura. Parece muy resistente. Uno de los tornillos llegó defectuoso pero con una llave de plomeria pude darle vueltas.
Great little shelf
This is the perfect bookshelf for my son’s room, it’s not too big but has decent storage for books and toys. Assembly was pretty straightforward and the materials feel like decent quality. All in all, I’m really happy with it.
