The oil container is sealed well and doesn’t leak unlike other oils I’ve received by mail. The size fits great in an apartment cupboard. The bottle is slimmer than a coke can and about as tall as a jarritos Mexican soda (the glass bottle kind of jarritos). Overall great quality and shipped quickly. I’ve been trying to use olive oil more than vegetable oil so this is a perfect size container allowing me to have some cheat days diet-wise without allowing oil to go bad. I fry Dominican salami or wings on the stove top for one or two people. Medium heat worked best for me or maybe medium-high could work too depending on the stove. I use an electric stove with coil burners and when I fry foods I use an older pan from a Rachel ray set I used to have. Perfect combination. Doesn’t get smoky on medium heat!

I'm not a fan of highly processed, refined GMO soy and canola oils like this one, but my husband loves it for his popcorn machine. Since he only uses about a tablespoon or two each weekend, this small size is perfect. I live in Florida and store it in the fridge.

My better half likes olive oil, but it doesn’t tastes odd with certain foodstuffs. I have tried egg white omelets with it and it was not “right” to my taste. Growing up, my elders used lard to fry/cook certain things. I stopped using it by my late teens as I started “enjoying” chow time. Butter is not always a viable option for things like fries (a rarity). We did have oil spray cans, but felt like I was introducing something that I didn’t want. A little bit goes a long way and this bottle will last a while as I keep it in the fridge.
