I cannot believe I paid $19.00 for this nasty, non-refundable product. It arrived as a single, solid brick that had clearly been melted and then solidified. The weather was in the mid sixties where I live, so it must have been like this at the Bolo or Guittard facility and they sent it anyway. I broke the lump into pieces and the inside of it was exactly the same pale, chalky color through and through. The texture was very dry and crumbly, nothing like normal chocolate, and it was nearly flavorless. Like eating a stick of chalk. I have used and eaten the same Guittard wafers in a darker, 74% chocolate version (red bag), and those are delicious and of very high quality, so I am truly shocked at this disgusting product. If it were only an issue of the wafers arriving as a single brick, that might be acceptable. But the dry crumbling texture and lack of flavor made this inedible and not usable for any purpose. Literally the worst "chocolate" I've ever had in my life. Stay away from this nasty product and don't ruin your recipes with it. Also, it was not expired. It's just a gross product.

Every year, my Dad used to send us a huge box of Wilbur Buds for Christmas. They are kind of like fancy Hershey Kisses. After my wife got diagnosed with Celiac's, she had to avoid the Wilbur Buds (due to gluten) and was sad. Guittard's are gluten free and delicious, and the baking wafers look enough like the Buds that she can be part of the tradition again. I surprised her with these a few years ago and she loved them. They're now part of every Christmas.

The chocolate came totally melted into one big ugly chalky block. Ugh! i have ordered this chocolate before, hence the 4 stars. One star off for the Bolo delivery guy; big fail buddy.

These chocolate wafers are generally excellent and I love this brand; however, beware of ordering on Bolo! I received a bag with one gigantic blob of clearly previously melted wafers. Really is not OK that sellers here are sending products in this condition. And getting a refund was a hassle.
