I love the fact that it keeps for a long time, so if there was ever an emergency situation, I'd have something nutritous to depend on.

This reminds me of the product my mom always relied on, and myself as well when I started to cook. It's SO EXPENSIVE in the stores ($3.29 for a 4 1/2 oz. bottle, which doesn't go very far!), so this is a great way to buy it... the bag lasts a long time, despite many uses! It's very good added to quinoa as a quick and flavorful side dish. It also brings back great memories of mom and cooking in her kitchen. This is my SECOND purchase, so yes, I highly recommend as a good friend to have in your kitchen to help perk up quinoa, rice, soups, stews, vegetable dishes, as well as chicken, pork, or beef. ENJOY!

Originally I planned on using it as an addition to cream cheese but the potatoes got in the way. I tried cooking the mix first but still, the potatoes.It is however a great addition to soups. It makes excellent vegetarian soup when added to tomato soup or even gumbo.The mix does not rehydrate if you follow the recipe. I found that the recipe works much better if you use 1 part mix and 2 1/2 parts water.It also takes longer than the suggested 15 minutes...because if the potatoes and carrots. Just keep in mind when using.All in all it isn't too shabby.

We purchased these after reading reviews and comparing costs. We are very impressed with the quality and flavor. We utilize these to add veggies to ramen and other quick dishes. This product is very handy to have around in the winter when fresh garden vegetables aren't available. There is a good mix of different vegetables in the mix and there doesn't seem to be too many of any specific veggie. One thing we did notice is they take just a bit longer to soften up, so we just add them to the water first and give them a couple extra minutes to cook before adding the other ingredients. This product is very versatile. Will be purchasing again.

Very good veggies for making instant soup!!! I regularly make instant soup with these and add other dried and fresh veggies, dried beans, meats, spices, half of a lipton onion soup or beefy onion or garden flavor packets plus spicy or oriental sauces, etc then toast an English muffin or make garlic bread to have with it. It makes a fast filling lunch or dinner. I always have these on hand, they're great!!!

The vegetables are not like is shown. They are chopped very tiny and all I taste is onion. I don't like it at all.

I Compared the ingredients used in this brand compared to other brands and decided this one was best for me. The variety of this brand is great and it's affordable. I started buying dried veggies because my normal store bought ones kept going bad too quickly before I could even cook them.I was worried that these guys would be hard after cooking but I haven't found that to be the case. I usually throw these into a soup, but so far they've been soft and completely indistinguishable from normal veggies. Plus they're pre chopped so that's another plus.My only complaint is that I'd prefer the bag to have a zip lock of some kind to seal after opening. I normally just throw them into a plastic Tupperware once I get it delivered.
