I’ve been loving these things for way too long and unfortunately I have received bags that were not good at all. It got to the point that I stopped buying them in bulk online and would just pick some up at a local neighborhood grocer - the “fill your own bag from a jar” type of place. SO fresh and fantastic that way. This seller has a good product, though, and I’ve bought from them twice. They’re fresh and have the perfect level of sweetness and stickiness. Fast shipping as well.

These candies instantaneously took me back to my childhood, with warm, loving memories of family: specifically of my Sicilian grandmother. My Grandma used to make these (she called them "giugiuline": no clue what that actually means in English; even Google Translate doesn't recognize it). The toasted taste of the savory sesame seeds with the crunchy sweetness of the sugars and honey: it's the perfect candy! These are so fresh, and I'm extremely happy that I purchased these, in spite of the few tears that I shed remembering "the good old days". This is one of my few food memories for which I never got the recipe, so thank you for making these wonderful candies available!! UPDATE: I decided to look up sesame seeds on Wikipedia, and I can't believe what I found!! "Giurgiuleni" or "giuggiuleni" are interchangeable words used in Sicily only, to describe sesame seed treats! I speak Italian, so my spelling of the word was based solely on Italian phonetics: I'm thrilled to know that my grandparents and my dad didn't make that word up!!

This sweet treat is a must-have for those of you who crave something sweet, but not too sweet. Just the right amount of honey is in each piece, and the crunch is not bad on your teeth. The packaging is very nice, you would think that it would cost you a pretty penny to buy these, but the price was economical and you get a good quantity as well. Give SweetGourmet a try when you have that craving for a nice sweet treat, you won't be disappointed.

These are ok. Not bad but not like I remembered as a child. I feel like something's missing. I've had worse. My package was completely FULL so I have them a four star review. I liked the packaging but I think a picture of what's inside would be helpful. Especially, in the cream area on the packaging. The value for the money is worth it but I still think it's missing that something extra.

Addictive can't stop eating these have not bought any sense because I eat them too fast the sesame seeds are good for me but so is that honey but too much sugar feeds my cancer

Was pleasantly surprised of how fresh this childhood candy was when I opened it. I literally sat and enjoyed this candy. Felt like a piece of heaven. I love the simple ingredients. Will definitely purchase again. So glad I bought two bags. So worth the great memories …. Tasted like it was just made. Thank you for providing a fresh product.
