The epsom salt at our local grocery store is wildly expensive, and I'm not sure how I stumbled upon this but randomly decided to give it a try since my husband swears by it. He LOVED this post-workout one, he blew through the whole bag in a matter of days. Money well spent in my opinion, plus it leaves our bathroom, bedroom and him smelling so good after one of his soaks. He works out very hard so he knows his stuff, any time I have a complaint he sticks me in the tub with this stuff. I have chronic shoulder/neck pain that sometimes leaves me lying on the ground just to get a few seconds of relief and one night it got so bad that he found my heaving with sobs on our bedroom floor, and drew a bath with this and ordered me in and didn't let me leave it for over half an hour. I calmed down and my pain was more or less gone. Most of the time the pain just subsides but lurks in the shadows of my bones all day, but after that particular instance I didn't feel the lurk. I highly recommend this and will be habitually ordering.

Tried a few different types of blends and brands, but this is still my favorite. Must be the menthol.*Updated - the pre-post workout blend is fantastic. I can't live without these Epsom salts. I have endometriosis and fibromyalgia. My pain flare are ALL OVER, with alot of focus on aching breasts, pelvic area and irritated nerves shooting down my limbs. I take my two Tramadol's, and three ibuprofen, but these rarely scratch the surface of my pain.... But if I take my meds, then shower bath into the pre/post work Epsom salts, my pain is assured to melt away within ten minutes. I let myself stew for 20-40 minutes (depending on how long I need a rest), then come out feeling fresh and with considerably less pain.It must be the menthol that's the secret ingredient, because these work like Epsom salts are advertised to, remove pain. Every other espom salt I've tried does not quell my pain.

We used this stuff for the first time 3 days after my son broke his toe. Without telling him what I put in the water, he said he could feel his foot tingle. A couple days later, using the same amount of bath salt, he said it didn't tingle as much. The swelling had subsided some by then, so my thought is that it really must target inflammation. It also smells wonderful, not too strong and very pleasant. The packaging says to use at least 2 cups/bath, so it ends up being a bit expensive, but for sore muscles and injuries, it definitely delivers!

I have fibromyalgia which affects my muscles. I've not ever had much faith in natural remedies, but am starting my adventure into essential oils and Epsom salt baths. Typically warm baths relieve my pain for about 20 mins after and then I'm back in head to toe pain and stiffness. I will say I had relief lasting about 2 hours after two cups of this in my bath and staying there for 25 mins much to my surprise. 2 hours of relief in exchange for a 25 minute bath is definitely worth it to me. The fragrance was great as well. Dissolved quickly and arrived on time. I will be reordering!

I bought this because of muscle soreness and sciatic nerve issues. The product was good, but be forewarned that it has a cooling sensation. I was taken off-guard because the bath water was very hot, yet I was cold! The reviews are correct in saying it smells very good, even my husband noticed. I don't know if I'll use it again because I was super cold after my bath.

I used this for the first time last night after an intense workout. I did not find the smell overpowering, it was actually quite pleasant. Within 10 minutes of sitting in the tub, the menthol started to kick in. It felt like taking a bath in icy-hot which felt amazing on my sore muscles. I will definitely purchase the Pre & Post Workout salts again! The only downside is that the directions call for 2 cups of salt per bath. The 3lb bag will probably only last for 3-4 baths.
