This is part of a system to support an ipad or other device. We bought the whole system many years ago and, like most things that are flexible, it became somewhat less rigid. So, we bought just the “tail”. Easy to replace and works as well as the first one ever did. Great company with awesome products!!!!

connetion is loose. The purchased items have been stored for a long time. Especially the paint on the contact parts has melted. There is also a problem with the joint. When I lock it, it will not be completely locked. Hope the manufacturer confirms the product before shipping. I especially like this product. I have bought it once before. But this purchase makes me sad...

Purchased this as a replacement. I initially bought the "Spider Monkey" by Octa for my Samsung tablet, which includes this piece (Monkey Tail) and the clamp part that holds the tablet (Spider). It's a better deal to replace the individual parts rather than buying a whole new kit. This monkey tail clipped onto the clamp piece easily, one thing to note, the top part was very sticky, maybe they're storing these in a place where it made the material tacky? In any case, we just left the original plastic packaging wrap on and using it that way.

I ordered 4 products from this Octa line. So disappointed. Returning 3 items. Like many other people are experiencing I too got items that are having trouble with the rubber components being degraded and becoming disgustingly sticky. Bad enough when this happens after having an item for years, but really unacceptable when the item comes brand new already having this issue.

I had it for a few months now; didn't use it that much but the tail is not as rigid as it was; it bends under the weight of the surface book display.It is probably okay for lighter tablets.

Ma p’tite histoire, si elle peut vous être utile...Je cherchais depuis longtemps un support de tablette qui permettrait de soulager, entre autres, mes cervicales et mes p‘tits bras (parce que c’est un peu lourd au bout d’un moment une tablette, quand même...et sur les cuisses, c’est pas génial).Et voilà, c’est chose faite ! 🎉😍😃Après longue réflexion (obligée de commander 2 produits, un peu chers...), j’ai opté pour la Monkeytail grand modèle et le Spider, et je suis plus que comblée ! Bien emballés et livrés avec un mode d’emploi anglais/français. La qualité des matériaux est excellente et la combinaison des deux en font un objet on ne peut plus pratique.La Monkeytail se manipule très facilement, on peut la caler partout !! Sa longueur permet d’ajuster la tablette à la hauteur adaptée, ainsi j’adopte de meilleures postures lorsque je l’utilise sur le canapé ou quand je suis couchée.Le Spider tourne à 360°, les « pattes » se plient/déplient facilement.Le tout reste stable, offre un confort très appréciable, en toute sécurité, et ne prend pas trop de place une fois pliés.J’en ai rêvé, ils l’ont fait !Magique !!!
