I bought this white board (36x48) because the one’s at Walmart and similar stores were not big enough for what I wanted. Luckily, I found this larger sized white board here on Bolo. The company sells even larger ones, but this one is a perfect, one-piece size.I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality. The side rails are thick, quality aluminum. The only plastic is the 4 mounting corners, which seems to be a heavy duty, thick plastic. You don’t have to worry about them breaking from over-tightening the mounting screws.Mounting was super easy. Just have one person hold the board where you want it, and another person mark out the holes. I was able to get 2 of the screws into a stud, and I had to use the drywall anchors for the other two. Mounting is extremely easy, but the directions do not tell you exactly what size drill bits or anything to use. If you have any experience hanging stuff on a wall, it’s not hard. If you have other wall anchors, use those because this comes with your typical low-quality drywall anchors. As a side note, I think this may be slightly too heavy to use with adhesive strips. You could probably manage with a ton of adhesive strips, but 4 screws is the better option. Finally, the plastic caps that cover the screw heads in the corner fit in snugly, and don’t seem like they will fall out.The board looks super sleek, without bulky corners. The marker tray was surprisingly sturdy. It snaps on tightly, and I don’t think it’ll fall off. I’ve used a handful of white boards over the years, and this is one of the best marker holder trays I’ve seen. The board erases great, with minimal ghosting (which is most likely due to my cheap markers and eraser).I was worried about potential damage because it ships in only a plastic sleeve with one tiny piece of cardboard over the white face. I could only find one little indentation the size of a pencil head on the entire thing. It was not noticeable unless I used a flashlight. 5/5 for no shipping damage, but I suspect it would be easy for it to be accidentally damaged in shipping.Overall, the quality is beyond my expectations. I got lucky and found this board with a 45% discount, and that discount was gone by the next day. Even if I payed full price, I think it would be worth the money spent. The picture I took makes the board look small, but it does take up a massive portion of the wall. Make sure you measure the size you need.

This is a great white board. I've purchased 4 so far for my office, and they hold up well. Are easy to install, and the perfect size for notes, scribbles and thoughts without taking up too much wall space.Would love it if they offers a bundle option with an eraser and pens starter kit.The only gripe I have is that the tray pops off somewhat easy, if you are energetic in returning your markers to the tray. However it quickly snaps back on, and you do have the benefit of being able to slide it from one side to the other easily.

So many times you run into cheap materials that under-perform. This one is very nice. Easy to write on, simple to completely erase. Magnetic.
4.0 out of 5 stars Slide the tray, don't Snap it. Incorrect measurements.
First of all, when you attach the marker rack, slide it on from the corner, don't try to force it to snap on. The plastic is rigid, not flexible, and if you try to force it, it will break. That being said, this product is overall pretty decent. It did not arrive damaged (despite a conspicuous boot print on the outside of the packaging), and it had no dents or scratches to speak of. It's decently magnetic, although not as powerfully magnetic as my refrigerator. If you mark it with a sharpie, it can be cleaned with a liberal amount of rubbing alcohol such that it has no stains whatsoever. It is mounted by the corners with screws and drywall anchors, which make for a sturdy, and not too difficult, installation, even in drywall. The mounting system even comes with face plates to disguise the screw holes on the corners if you don't like the look of them. Like I said, overall a decent product. I would give it the full 5 stars if the product weren't slightly different than the dimensions advertised. The full length is 3/4" (three fourths of an inch) shorter than advertised, both in height and length, even when you include the 1" (one inch) thick outside frame. That may not seem like much, but when you do the math, that's 62.4375 square inches that you payed for and didn't receive. If you were expecting 48" by 36" of USABLE board space, that's 143.9375 square inches that you aren't getting. To put that in perspective, the area of an A4 sheet of copy paper is 96.673693 square inches. Which means at MOST, you've been gyped the spacial equivalent of 1.4889003982 (let's call it 1.5) sheets of copy paper, and at LEAST, you've been gyped the equivalent of 0.6458582274 sheets of paper (let's call it a bit more than half a sheet). I didn't have any spacially specific plans for this white board, but for those few customers who do, I'm sure that the inaccuracy would/could be a catastrophic deal breaker. Hence, 4 stars.

Sweet buttery Christ on a pogo stick. Writing on it feels so good I almost need a cigarette after. Markers glide across it like they’re auditioning for Dancing With the Stars, and it erases clean leaving no marker herpes left behind. Magnets stick to it like my bad habits and strong enough to hold up my broken dreams.Size is perfect, big enough to plan world domination, small enough to still fit in my lair. And let’s be real, it makes me look productive even when all I’ve written is ‘Don’t forget tequila.’If you’re into writing, doodling, or pretending you’re smarter than you are. Buy this thing. Five stars. No regrets!

Great buy, the size was wider than I imagined but thats an error on my part I was able to hang it up well and it fits on my wall. however the markers ink drys up quick so use a wet spray bottle and the eraser and youll be fine. you might also be well off using a whiteboard spray with the right chemicals. but i think water works too. Im using it as a vision board for my ambitions and it was a great buy!

Awesome whiteboard - good size and well made
This is an excellent board. It's hanging in our kitchen and great for planning the week, keeping track of key use-by dates etc. Pretty essential in these covid19 times to be honest when you're not sure when the next food delivery will come.It is sturdy, metal-backed (so magnetic pens stick to it), the board itself is NOT magnetic (which is the right way round) and the aluminium frame is well made, no frets, burrs etc. Mounting to the wall is via 4 screws, one each corner through the frame and into the wall. This means you can mount the unit horizontally (landscape) or vertically (potrait), and it sits flat to the wall with no rock, sway or similar that units with mounting eyes, loops or similar picture-style hangers can suffer from.The unit ships with all screws and good quality wall plugs (not cheap ones like some other products seem happy to supply). It also comes with corner caps to cover the screw heads for improved appearance.It is reasonably lightweight - I could hold it in place at shoulder height to install it, my wife struggled slightly more to keep it level, but she could still lift it ok (we got the 900x600 board). The metal backed board does mean it is not super-lightweight like a purely plastic board might be. Personally I'd rather have the improved robustness of this board and the ability to stick magnets to it. Once it's installed who cares about the weight?The plastic tray clips on securely and can be easily positioned anywhere around the frame edge. It works fine, and is sturdy/robust, but it is clearly made by cutting down a long length of extruded plastic into shorter sections. It arrives sanded smooth, but if I'm nitpicking I guess it lacks the rounded smoothness a moulded piece would have on the two cut ends (front back are fine). This is a minor thing and once it's installed and you've given it a wipe with a damp cloth (mine had a small amount of dust on it from where it had been sanded) you don't notice it - we haven't since anyway!
