Excellent controller. The hall effects joysticks work like a charm. The lighting is fun, but subtle. It is extremely easy to get the controller connected to a PC and the included charging dock is so nice to have. There are two mappable buttons on the back side and there are even two extra buttons by the triggers making this easily customizable to your individual needs.I have enjoyed this controller so much, I've already bought a second one and will recommend this to anyone who wants a solid controller at a great price.

They fixed the connection issue from version 1. Now it never drops connection. The version 1 drops connect like 4-5 times a day. This never does. I should give it 4 stars but on these scales, a 4 star would make people not buy it when compared to other controllers it's probably better. I wish they would let you configure all the buttons on a keyboard because as it is right now, all their extra buttons are useless when it can only map to a game controller's buttons. Also I really dislike the R buttons placement, it's way too high up making me extend my index finger sideways. The joysticks padding is way too thin. It should've been fat and rounded. I really like how fast it connects after taking it off of the charger, this is way better than xbox one controller on pc.I never used the led lights. It's super distracting to have a bright light right under your eye. As for construction quality, it has a solid premium feel. I mean I'm using it for a reason. This is a decent controller and probably better than most of them. Although button placement on an xbox one controller was perfection. Also having an actual charge stand is so much nicer than a little charger that sticks to it. It's so nitpicky to say this but it feel so much nicer to just put it on a charger and take it off with one hand. Very convenient feeling and that makes all the difference.

I love this thing. 98% of it is impeccable.8BitDo's naming convention is a little bit confusing, but this particular controller is pretty much JUST for PC, and it is a very solid choice for PC at that. Very smooth sticks, nice membrane buttons, L2 and R2 triggers that can be transformed from analogue triggers to digital clicky buttons, all good stuff. The dpad is different from 8bitdo's earlier revisions, with it being more 'tactile' than rubber membrane. I think the closest similarity to another product might be a PS Vita dpad, where it has an in between rubber dome of most dpads of the past and the clickiness of XBOX controllers. In theory, this should be amazing for precision platformers or Tetris type of games, as you will feel when you press a direction the way you meant to or accidentally press a wrong direction input. Could it feel fatiguing? I can't quite tell, but playing games for over 2 hours at a time would fatigue me anyway.The input latency is insanely good, like you can have the dock connected to the PC and will connect with 2.4ghz to its dock and it feels just about the same as connecting the controller through a wire. You *could* use the Ultimate 2 Bluetooth if you want, but that would be better for Switch/Switch2 as I think it has more latency (according to Gamepadla) which is fine for the Nintendo Consoles and is more in line with how those controllers and consoles work. If your main focus is PC, get this instead for the better input latency.I also appreciate how classy, understated, and not 'aggressively gamer' it looks, compared to other third party controllers.My only complaint is about the R1 and L1 bumpers, but this is more of a taste thing. I would have preferred a rubber membrane button for the bumpers, but if I wanted that then I would use the older model Ultimate C that I have.If you were to get only ONE gamepad for your PC, I can highly vouch for this one.

Let me start with: This is a great controller. It feels good in my average-adult-male sized hands. Buttons are clicky and responsive, the TMR sticks appear to have great accuracy. I bought this controller because my XBox Elite had just the slightest amount of stick drift but so far the TMR sticks have been awesome and I've been able to remove any deadzone I had to add for my previous controller. The triggers feel good and the lockout to make them more like buttons is perfectly functional. The dock looks good, and has a nice understated light to let you know the device is charging, and the whole hide-the-dongle-in-the-charger-base is very clever (if you plug the dock directly into one of your desktop USB ports). Really a great all around controller, nice use of RGB lighting and it just feels high quality, particularly impressive at this price point. Oh and might I add that when you take the controller off the dock or turn it on my computer recognizes it INSTANTLY!Only one issue keeps it from being 5-star: I can't use all the buttons/paddles as unique inputs! The face buttons and thumbstick-clicks work as expected, but the paddles and additional buttons near the triggers just let you remap the other buttons. Don't get me wrong, I love mapping RS and LS to the paddles, but I had hoped I could use those as additional buttons to maximize the amount of control customization. Overall a minor gripe on top of an otherwise terrific peripheral, but I play a number of games that have more inputs that a traditional controller would support and I had hoped this controller would fill that niche need. So however many buttons there are on the controller, subtract 4 and that's the total number of unique inputs. Other than that, great controller, highly recommended, and I am now a believer in 8bitdo!

Love it! One of the best controllers I've used for PC
I initially bought the Ultimate 2C, and it was very good, but this one Ultimate 2 just feels much more premium, and it is. I'm very satisfied with the purchase, the ergonomics of the controller are excellent 👌.

Controller di ottima fattura, robusto e led rgb personalizzabili tramite software. Dopo diverso tempo non ho riscontrato problemi di drift. Si collega all'istante non appena lo si toglie dalla base di ricarica. È possibile personalizzare fino a tre profili oltre e a quello di default sempre tramite software e switchare tra uno e l'altro tramite tasto dedicato. Si possono assegnare tasti specifici alle levette L4 e R4 poste dietro, rendere qualsiasi tasto come "fuoco rapido" e molto altro ancora tipo la personalizzazione di ogni singolo led posto attorno agli analogici. Molte funzioni sono gestibili via controller tramite tasto dedicato o combo di tasti, altre opzioni vanno gestite inizialmente via software! 8bitdo è una garanzia assoluta!

J'ai changé de manette suite à une extinction complète après des années de dure labeur d'une nacon ultimate (200€) et je suis extrêmement content de cette 8bitdo (60€).Manette très réactive, parfaitement compatible avec mon pc qui l'a détecte aussitôt enlevé du socle de charge.Très qualitatives, ergonomique, impression de robustesse ...Sur le plan technique, c'est une des meilleures manette du marché avec un prix explosant toute concurrence (joystick tmr, gâchette hall effect/ lineaire...).Taille de manette unique plus petite qu'une manette élite ou PS5, peut être déplaisant pour certain, elle me convient parfaitement malgré de grandes mains.Les seuls points "négatif" (subjectifs) que je lui ai trouvé sont:- le software qui ne propose pas de personnalisation des paramètres joystick ( courbe d'accélération)-Le software qui ne propose pas de couleur constante, seuls des mods de couleurs variables sont personnalisablesSi vous êtes un joueur plus occasionnel sa petite sœur ultimate 2c fait parfaitement l'affaire ,étant pour moi le meilleur rapport qualité-prix existant (il n'y a bien sûr pas les même caractéristiques).
Not even usable
Completely unusable for the reason intended. I have only had this controller for a day and had nothing but problems. Firstly I want to use it on Bluetooth, it registered however when I go into my PC games the A and B button are switched.I had to download some software to fix itThought my problem was solved? Nope, next went into my game and registered as playstation despite the buttons being the same as xbox. I'm so sad, I just wanted to get away from xbox controllers as they break on me quite frequently. Do better 8bitdo.
