Been using it for years as suggested on the product, I apply it at night after their BHA and follow with their moisturizer.This routine leaves my middle-age skin comfortable and smooth in the morning. When I fail to use it my face & neck feels more dry, less comfortable.They claim it reduces/prevents age damage...I have no idea if that is true. I'm the wrong client to adk, because I don’t track the changes on my skin over time very carefully. I don't have severe wrinkling or dryness, because my skin was oily and acne-prone in my youth.For me, using Paula's Choice products is about the feel of my skin for the price, not the appearance of my skin. Paula's choice contains more high-quality ingredients and less perfume per dollar than comparable high-quality products, and leaves my skin feeling as good or better than more heavily marketed or perfumey brands.To compare what my skin would look like without Paula's Choice, I look at pictures on my mom at my age. No difference! Her skin looked great, and still looks great for 94, LOL! She didn’t have the benefit of this stuff, but told me, and I listened, to always wear a hat when outdoors, and never sunbathe, but instead to be active outdoors while protecting your skin from direct sunlight.My mom now uses this, too, and she agrees, skin products of today that utilize vitamin C, retinols, BHA, etc., do leave your skin feeling better with consistent use than the ones she used back when. And that's worth paying a bit more for.On the other hand, I'm often told I’ve got nice skin, I’m sure this isn’t hurting.

Excellent product, I combine this (two pumps) with a Hyaluronic Acid Serum (two to three drops) I buy here on Bolo and the combo of these two products makes my skin look like I'm young and fresh. Which says a lot ... I'm in my 40's and have all the signs of aging skin. If I use this product without a hyaluronic acid serum I do NOT get the same results. Why? Who knows. I'm not a chem major so I can't tell you why the combo of those 2 products gives me such great results, I just know that it does.That said, paying $70 for this is a CRIME!! Go directly to Paula's Choice site and buy from them; the product is $37 there. As for which hyaluronic acid I use, it's called "The Original Hyaluronic Acid Serum 100% Pure" by Timeless Skin Care. You can buy it here on Bolo for less than $14 ... it will last you a long time.UPDATE: JUNE 2014. The seller came down with their price and offer Prime members free shipping. SOLD!!! I've used this product for several months and I love it. I began using it at night, because it is an oil and didn't want a greasy feeling during the day or under make-up. I have to say, the RESIST does go on oily, but - at least on my skin - it absorbs rather quickly and does NOT leave a greasy feeling after just a few minutes. My skin is 55 years old (just my skin, because I'm sure the rest of me is not nearly that old!) so use the oil on my face, neck and upper chest areas. I am no beauty, so I really don't know if this product works as a beauty enhancement, but it feels so GOOD on my skin, that I really recommend using it regularly. I just wish I had started taking care of my skin much younger. I now use the RESIST every evening and occasionally in the morning, as well.

So I'm new to retinol and have been using this for a little over a week. Been getting some retinol burn, which I read is a normal side effect. I follow with a retinol based cream. But I get a reaction from this within 15 mins of use. It takes a little time to permeate your skin and dry off. I already see some improvement in my forehead wrinkles and 11s. Though slight, they appear less pronounced

I am only giving 3 stars for now. I started using this product 3 days ago at night only. The first morning after my face felt great. Very moisturized and a little more glowy from the previous day. The second morning after, I had 5 new pimples around my nose. Small enough to cover with makeup thank goodness. The 3rd morning after my face was even more glowy and felt so smooth. No new pimples. This is a little greasy feeling but sinks into skin within 5 minutes. I am hoping to get no new breakouts as my skin is usually pretty clear. But I've heard its popping up what was already there underneath, hiding, waiting to come out. I will do another review once I finish this product as it's only been 3 days.

I adore this product which I used as a step up to Paula's Choice 1% Clinical Retinol treatment and more recently a 0.25 Tretinoin. I'm unable to use Tretinoin or the 1% Clinical on my throat without a bad reaction so use this with no reaction whatsoever. It is quite expensive but worth it I think.

Ich hab schon lange mit Retinol geliebäugelt, war aber skeptisch, ob meine manchmal etwas komplizierte Haut damit umgehen kann. Das Serum benutze ich nun jeden Tag. Es ist nicht so hoch dosiert, daher habe ich mich als Einsteiger daran getraut. Ich bin bisher super zufrieden. Es fühlt sich auf der Haut ganz seidig an und am nächsten Tag fühlt sich die Haut praller an und sieht weniger faltig aus.

Great product for mature dry skin.

I have tried this product twice and find it a good hydrating product for my aged dehydrated skin.I would recommend it, as it gives your skin a deep moisturising leaving it with a better look through the day.

I purchased this product about a month ago.When I tried it for the first time the first thing I thought was oh no it's to oily / greasy when it first goes on! But to my surprise it blends in well and your face is left feeling supple!

dieses Serum ist einfach phantastisch. Ich habe es gekauft, da ich etwas mit Retinol ausprobieren wollte. Ich benutze es abends vor dem Schlafengehen und meine Haut fühlt sich am nächsten Morgen richtig schön prall und fest an.
