OK, I’m a sucker for maple flavored anything and the idea of having this Green Mountain Goodness Pure Vermont maple cream was irresistible. I was not disappointed. It is delicious! A little thicker than I would have guessed, but nothing a few seconds in the microwave can’t fix. I have used it as a topping on ice cream but haven’t tried it yet on waffles. Very pleased with this maple cream. Makes me want to visit Vermont. I should add, I appreciated how well and carefully the glass jar was wrapped. When I saw the care they put into getting the maple cream safely to me I knew it would be good. You can’t fake diligence and caring and pride in their product. It was clear they wanted to make sure it arrived safely. I love to see a job well done!

I love this stuff, and this is a good version of it. It may separate, but you can stir it back together. And it will eventually crystallize, but you can put the jar in hot water and it'll melt back a bit.

My sister-in-law from Vidalia, GA, introduced me to this stuff. Trust me, the gods of Vermont have reached down and touched these trees! And the chefs who do the brewing must all be Sorcerers Apprentices! Go get you some of this delight and slather it on some good toast!

This was our first time using maple cream and we're addicted. The cream had separated a bit but was easy enough to stir together again. The taste was so much more intense than maple syrup. It's thick, but spreadable, and stays put on pancakes instead of oozing all over the plate. Not sure yet if it needs to be refrigerated after opening, as pure honey does not, but will err on the side of caution. Judging from other reviewers' comments, I think we lucked into the best maple cream out there so we'll continue to purchase from Green Mountain Goodness. We can't imagine using maple syrup ever again on pancakes. Next we'll try it on toast then muffins and so forth. What a great way to start a Sunday...or any day! I had stuffed a jar of this in hubby's Christmas stocking...what a great hit this has been!
