We have lived in Our small country home nearly 40 years and maybe because of the dry drought we had, Our well got this awful sewer smell to it. I could not even bath in the water without filtering it. We tried bleaches and chlorine, it would short term fix the issue but we were batching and showering in bleach water. I came across this, did as DIRECTED and, 6 months later no smell at all. No chlorine smell, no bleach smell, just fresh water. I bought a second kit thinking we would need it every month and , like I said , that was 6 months ago. Don't waste Your time looking or testing or going anywhere else. THIS IS THE KIT! Like I said, follow the directions and in 12 -24 hours, problem fixed.

Product was easy to use. Great instructions, awesome online videos on how to. Product was highly effective. We had bad smell on water and this product finally solved our problem. Highly recommend!!!!!
4.0 out of 5 stars Gunk cleared, sulfur smell gone, but pellets didn’t dissolve
First: I see lots of reviews stating the chlorine smell lingered for a long time, and I found my pellets didn’t dissolve completely. I followed all instructions, cycled the water from hose to well for 30 minutes, then ran it to all faucets at let sit for 10 hrs before flushing. I flushed through a hose at the far end of the house and found chunks of chlorine pellets spewing out. These would be caught in a water heater or faucet and slowly continue to leach chlorine, which could be the reason for many peoples’ issues. I’m not sure how you can avoid this.That said, as you can see in the photos, loads of black and red-brown gunk came out of my pipes. After a few minutes it’s all now running clear, and I’m hoping this will prove a long-term solution for the rotten egg sulfur smell.

This product does the job my water is cleaner now after the treatment. I had to clean my tubs and toilets every 3 days from a brown scum. One thing I should have done first was install a 3 filter system because it cleaned so well my faucet's screens got clogged. I bought the 3 filter set up on Bolo it had 2 charcoal filter and a 5 micron sediment filter cost about $165 Now I have clean Sulphur free water.

Ugh, hard water is the worst! We've tried a bunch of different things to soften it up. We used twice the recommended amount for our well size just to be sure it worked. When flushing it out the water was rust colored and then clear. I was so excited to have fresh clean water. This seem to work for a little while, like maybe a month or so. Then, bam, the water's back to being gross smelling and hard again. So frustrating! I really expected more after reading the reviews and the cost. But unfortunately this product doesn't seem to have the longevity I was hoping for money spent.

Works great! Took the sulfur smell away faster than i thought. Easy to use! Now to see how long it lasts. Will buy again!

Bought this product for the first time. I had the ole rotten egg smell and such. Just follow the directions and you will be fine. My well was not marked for depth but i had the diameter. If you watch the video on this product, they tell you its better to have to much chlorine (Pellets) than not enough. I poured in the whole bottle in my well. When you mix up the powered chlorine in your bucket, mix it up real well. It takes a little to disolve. I bipassed my softner and filtration system, put everything down the well and let it sit all night. This morning i turned on my garden hose and let it run for 30 miuntes. i then went in and opened all my faucets till the chlorine smell and taste was gone. However, do not forget to drain your hot water tank. THere is a lot of chlorine and the hot water will remain brown tinged. Be sure to drain it and fill it back up. Right now my cold water is crystal clear and good tasting as well as the hot. Great product
