The more popular brands of Dijon taste pale in comparison. Pure mustard flavor is at the forefront, with nary a sense of fillers and just the right amount of heat. The texture is smooth and creamy. Honestly, it is better that yellow mustard for potato salad, better than English mustard with a pork pie, better than brown deli mustard for a sandwich. I’ve even used it to dip egg rolls into when I don’t have the hot Chinese mustard. You’ll pay more for Edmond Fallot, but it packs a lot of flavor and versitility into every spoonful, so I think it is great quality for the money.

Edmond Fallot mustards are simply the best. Several years ago, my wife and I discovered this terrific product during our travels throughout France. We were very pleased to find this excellent mustard in specialty shops in America... and now on Bolo.The several flavors available are all marvelous -- a rich and elegant taste and texture with a wonderfully clean finish. All of these mustards are beautifully made and add a welcome lift to a variety of dishes and cuisines (it is difficult to pick a favorite flavor).There are a few high-end mustards available in this country and some are quite good. However, the Edmond Fallot product is rather special and brings back many fond memories of France. These yummy mustards put a smile on our faces every time. Try them yourself... you'll be glad you did.

never thought i'd be a person that says, "is that the good mustard?"but here we are.it's so much more flavorful than brands ive tried in the past. only regret? not finding it earlier in life.

I am a Dijon mustard freak. Cannot live without this beautiful golden condiment. Fallot has that classic Dijon bite, heat. It's the real deal, from Beaune, France. (near Dijon). We've stayed there. I usually buy 4 jars at a time for pantry backup because I use it so often in sauces, and for making daily vinaigrettes, and on sandwiches. Their flavors are good too and fun. I really like the tarragon, and the whole grain is terrific. The only one I buy, and have for years.

"Product of France- but made lighter for American tastes"I lived in Paris for work for several months and I would buy this mustard at some of the specialty stores.The Edmond Fallot Dijon Mustard there was the best mustard i have ever had. I think i became addicted it to. It was the kind that if you sniffed inside a used bottle your nostrils would burn with delight. Incredibly, deliciously strong.I bought back a few bottles with me from France when I came home, but of course those bottles didn't last me long.When I saw these on Bolo I was Beyond happy!Sadly, when I opened it though i realized that this wasn't what i had hoped it would be. This mustard, to me, lacked a lot of flavor and sharpness that even the mustards offered in the Cafe's in France had.I will say that this package came very quickly and all the jars were packaged safely.Other people seem to enjoy it and as i said previously, nothing was wrong at all with the delivery- I feel bad to give them only 3 stars.I, however, thought this mustard was very lacking- but i realize that is just my personal taste.If you want nostril burning mustard (and you have a high spice tolerance) this is NOT for you.
