Great value considering how much you get! Overall a good flavor, I'm not expecting ceremonial grade at this price per volume, and it's still nice to drink every morning. I find it mixes easily with a little bit of water before I pour in my milk so there are no clumps.

This is good grade matcha at an excellent price. Matcha is a wonderful choice for those mindful of their health; unlike other types of tea (green or any other) that is simply infused with the tea leaves possibly long after the plant was cut, decreasing nutriients, but with matcha, you’re drinking the actual leaves getting all of the nutrition. This miracle elixir has been consumed for over a millennium in the Far East, and is now considered to be one of the most powerful super foods on the market today for good reason! I put a tsp of matcha powder in my morning smoothie every single day, and if I miss a day I can really feel the difference in concentration, energy, and vitality. I love it for all of the protective health benefits, too.No wonder the Japanese are the longest living people on the planet! Recently I decided to diversify my drinking habits a little for a variety of reasons. I am very concerned about my health, and although I enjoy a nice cup of coffee (or two) in the afternoon, I was troubled with the idea that it’s not good for me to drink so much coffee. I am also prone to anxiety and all the caffeine seems to set me off. I did some research online looking for a healthy alternative that would give me the pick me up I need, but not cause the jitters and aggravate my anxiety. I read a lot about the health benefits of green tea which lead to me reading about the added benefits of matcha. Matcha is the whole green tea leaf ground up into a powder (rather than water brewed with the leaves to make a weaker tea) so it has all the benefits of green tea only much, much more so. I was completely unfamiliar with it before but the benefits sounded amazing so I had to give it a try.Since then I’ve tried a couple of different kinds of matcha. This is Chinese Matcha which is slightly different than the Japanese variety I tried previously. Reading the positive reviews here prompted me to give this product a try. I like the fact that it is 100% organic matcha. Opening the bag, it smells very fresh. The smell is strong, but the taste is not overpowering at all. The effect is both invigorating and calming. The green tea has properties that calm you and balance out the caffeine. It's an overall much more soothing effect than coffee.It’s really easy to make this into a delightful afternoon tea. The powder is finely milled so it’s easier to mix into a beverage. There is no need to sift the powder ahead of time. Just add ½ teaspoon to a mug and add hot water, whisk (I use the frother in place of a manual whisk) and voila! Lattes are almost as simple especially if you have the frother. Add warm milk instead of water and froth! Both ways make a delightful afternoon drink that is both good and good for you.

It’s decent! I mean ya get what ya pay for. It doesn’t have that rich green color like you might expect. And it is SOO messy when you first open it, the scoop was buried in the matcha. But it tasted pretty good!! I would buy again.

I make a Matcha latte every morning.I love that the MATCHA DNA Matcha Green Tea is certified organic, if you use a blender it mixes well and is a delicious way to enjoy its healthy properties.As you can see from my photo I use a generous 2 teaspoons of organic matcha green tea, organic almond milk, collagen with peptides, organic medjool dates, jujube extract, and organic hyperbiotic brand pre-biotic powder and monk fruit sweetener.Drinking this daily has helped me loose weight after spending months on a discouraging weight loss plateau and it kept me from gaining weight during the many thanksgiving potlucks and temptations.I love MATCHA DNA Certified Organic Matcha Green TeaAnd have in on my subscribe and save delivery.Highly recommended for quality, price, and healthy benefits.
