I had a broken car window and had to taped of the window with plastic. Upon getting the window fixed, I still had a lot of sticky tape goo left around the window where the tape was on my car. NOTE: I did not get the window fixed at a dealership or auto body part. Anyway, I was trying to figure out how to get the sticky adhesive stuff off my car without messing up the paint on my car. I Googled and came upon a YouTube video for Goo Gone. So I ordered it. I literally just took the bottle out of the box and went to see if it was going to work. OMG what a miracle worker. I had to spray the area on the car a few times, but the sticky tape goo stuff came off with ease and without messing the car paint. I definitely will be keeping this on hand and around the house. I just wish I took a picture of the car b4 using this product so you could actually see what I was working with b4 using Goo Gone.

Although the picture and a section of the product description page (at least when I ordered it) would lead you to believe there are two bottles for this price, you only get one. I’d give the seller themselves 0 stars for being misleading but I can’t knock a product I returned without using.So while I can’t actually review the efficacy of the product from this particular seller, I bought two bottles cheaper at Home Depot and they do the job very well. The smell actually isn’t unpleasant like they do a decent job of masking whatever adhesive removal product is in there but there’s just a hint of that smell still there and it’s off putting.So taking a star off for the smell and one for the deception.
Works great, even on the toughest of residue
Effectiveness:I used this on a glass door with old tape residue that had been baked on by the sun, and it worked really well. The adhesive came off without needing excessive scraping or elbow grease.Ease of Use:The spray applies evenly, and after letting it sit briefly, the residue wiped away cleanly. Much easier than trying to remove sticky messes with just soap and water.Surface Safety:On glass, it left no damage or streaking, and cleanup was simple. Always good to test on other surfaces, but for glass it performed perfectly.Bottom Line:A reliable remover for tough, stuck-on adhesives. If you’re dealing with old tape or sticky residue, especially on glass, this spray makes the job quick and painless.
