I have been buying this shoe every year for the past five or six years. At this point, my family recognizes them and would know exactly what they look like if I asked. It has honestly become my signature look. I absolutely love them. The design is perfect with the white bottom, black leather, shiny lace hoops, and waxed laces.Closer to the one year mark, after wearing them regularly, the black leather starts to show wear and the shoes begin to look used. That is usually when I order a new pair, but I never throw out the old ones. I keep them as my do anything shoes. If I need to wash the car or go to the park, I wear the older pair since I do not worry about getting them dirty. The newest pair is reserved for going out or wearing to the office.I usually retire a pair completely after about two years. For me, they are durable enough to last a year or more depending on how hard I use them. The white part tends to discolor sooner than I would like, but I included pictures to show what that looks like. Some marks are just on the surface and can be cleaned off. This is the only reason I would like to rate them a 4.5 stars.These are the only shoes I wear because they are extremely comfortable. They are the only pair I have found that does not make the bottom of my feet hurt when standing for long periods. One thing to note is they do squeak on tile or other hard floors, probably because the grip is so strong. I really hope these never get discontinued. Ecco made a high top version once that I also loved.

Good fit. I usually wear 13, was a little concerned that the US size 13-13.5 would be too big. But it fits really good, similar to my last pair of Ecco shoes. I'm an avid walker, and although I didn't purchase these as walking shoes, every shoe I own, even dress shoes, have to be comfortable and durable enough to endure walking all day if necessary. I wouldn't take these on a trail, but I will walk a lot in them.They'll need a short break-in period, but so far, they're very comfortable. I purchased these in black, and I've already put another color/finish on my wish list for my next pair of brown shoes.

Husband has these in three colors. This was the pair he got for winter. Also wears the ECCO dress shoes. They have a supportive footbed and a very comfortable overall fit and feel. Husband has plantar fasciatis and toe problems. These shoes have allowed him to be up and out without being in constant pain. And they look good - he frequently gets compliments and questions about them - including from his podiatrist, who bought a pair himself. Pricey, but worth it.

These are great shoes at an awesome price ! At Nord***m, they are much more expensive, I am glad that I searched Bolo and this seller/retailer is offering these shoes to us. Wonderful. They are brand new, original with box and well packaged. Ecco, however, does not make this shoe is half sizes, only full; so this shoe will either be a little big or snug for you. This shoe is comfortable to wear and pleasant to walk in. A great style for mature gentlemen, that goes well with casual dress or you could go low profile socks, or no socks with your nice summer suit. A great buy, and I am thinking of buying another pair. Four stars given because shoe is offered in full sizes only, and I had to order a size up..

The quality of these shoes is superior. Much has been written about size. Here is my impression thereof: they definitely run big. But that is primarily in the length. I simply sized down 1/2 size from my regular 9.5-10 size to the 9.0-9.5 in this shoe, and it fits quite well if a little long in the length. I tried the 8.0-8.5 as some suggested. I was expecting it to be way too small, but it was not. The length in the smaller size was probably better for me, but it was clearly too narrow, so I stuck with the 9.0-9.5 Pity they don't do half sizes. Despite the sizing, 5 stars overall.

I initially purchased the ECCO Men's Soft 7 Sneaker which actually appears as 'Bolo's Choice' if you search for these ECCO fashion shoes, but they did not feel as good or wide in the toebox especially. The difference in the outer material makes a big difference; these feel considerably wider.After surgery from a sportsball injury I have terrible knee pain in most all footwear, but amazingly it subsides entirely when I wear these. They're great for posture and hip and knee alignment. My hip muscles all activate when I put these on because they are flat on the bottom and without any mushy foam or cheap material. They offer the perfect amount of arch support, not too much or too little. I will be buying these for years to come, and I hope to see a vegan version as well.
