Obviously we are not going to find perfect health and happiness in a pill, but I think the evidence is more and more clear that a good, balanced diet, healthy lifestyle, and a smart use of supplements can make a significant positive change.Some quick things about myself for context: I don't take a lot of supplements. I don't believe in throwing everything at my body thinking that will make up for poor choices in diet and lifestyle. In fact I feel it's my good diet choices that have helped my body be so positively receptive to the few supplements I do take. I take some D3, fish oil, and magnesium. I may consider a B-complex in the future. The only other thing I take is St. John's Wart which I started for seasonal depression in the winter. I was surprised by the change this brought about in my mood, mainly that a natural herb could be so effective, but I found I needed significant doses to stay at peak effectiveness. I did a lot of reading and decided to try Maca root.First, like everyone else, I rely on reviews to choose from so many suppliers. I can positively say Superior Labs is a quality supplier with a quality product. They shipped and I received the product timely, they sent me an email thanking me for choosing their product, and then a follow up email a few weeks later asking how I liked it. I've had no problems swallowing the capsules, with no aftertaste whatsoever.Now to its effectiveness. Within days I noticed two things, increased energy and a positive change in mood. The energy change is more subtle, and may not be noticed by someone who uses a lot of energy drinks. It's more steady and not prone to ups and downs, but still very real. The more significant change I noticed from this product was my mood. I feel GOOD! Anyone who has struggled with mood issues will understand that often it's a struggle just not to feel bad, never mind feeling good. This is such a big change for me that for no other reason than this I wanted to write this review. Obviously results will vary from individual to individual. Everyone has a different body, different chemistry, different lifestyle that will determine their own reaction to a product. I just sincerely want to share mine because this is honestly what happened with me.A final benefit is yes, increased libido. This was not instantaneous like some reviews claim, but something that has slowly increased with regular usage. Not a viagra effect, but a more subtle but very nice change.I hate to rave about a product being miraculous, and that is not my intention. Again I truly believe it's because my diet is so relatively healthy that my body was able to derive such a clear benefit. However if you have done some research and believe maca root is worth tying, then I wholeheartedly recommend Superior Labs.

Let me start by saying that when I first started taking this product the first couple of days I took only 2 a day then 3 then at day 5 I started taking 4 a day like the instructions said. I started having horrible symptoms so I started to go back to 1-2 a day to see if that would help. After 2 weeks i had to stop taking them and sent them back.Whatever it said on the bottle it did just the opposite to me and then some. It also gave me the worse headaches and I also noticed that I began to grind my teeth (and I never experienced this before). I was so nauseous half the time and it made me feel so bloated. It caused me to experience insomnia even when I took the last pill no later than 2. It also made me start my period a week earlier, I felt my mood wasn't the best and to top off everything it made me gain weight.I eat very healthy and workout 5-6 times a week and most of those days I do insanity, p90x and yoga. So the weight gain and extreme bloating was not normal to me and not fun.I wanted to take maca because I heard about all the "great" health benefits. But unfortunately the side effects made me have to stop taking them.I hate giving a negative review but this was my honest experience and I hope this was helpful. Also before taking maca do your homework and read about side effects of maca. I wish I did.
