I have pain underneath my ribs on my back and this is the best tool I have found to release it! You can use it on the couch, against a wall, or on the floor. The different size knobs are great for getting different areas on neck and back. Great for the soreness at the base of the skull as well. I have taken it on long car rides and you can put it between the seat and your back. Overall phenomenal product, worth it being overpriced due to its unique shape and ability to help with areas that are otherwise hard to reach.

I bought this for my wife, who has a fused neck. She routinely gets a sore spot in the same place and this seems to help a lot. I’ve tried it as well and it really releases stiffness that is otherwise a hand killer to address. Great brand and product.

The item arrived on time. Included were some useful booklets on nutrition. For use info, you'll have to download the booklets from Dr. Berg's site, and/or watch Dr. Berg's videos, which are excellent. I've ordered other products from Dr. Berg based on his books and videos. I am not a patient or affiliated with his practice. I have found that Dr. Berg's products and devices do work as advertised and his company has always been gracious and helpful if any returns or adjustments are needed. That being said, here's my review of this particular deviceI find that using the device takes a little practice to get it in the correct position. Once in position, I found that it does indeed reduce muscular stress. It is also an excellent pressure point tool. It's easier to get into position than other devices I have tried for reducing neck and back pain muscle stress. It's also more multi-function that other products. I keep it handy where I sit at the computer so I can use it several times a day for neck relief and use on various trigger points. I think it is a good investment as a body work tool for relief of muscular stress.

I have metastatic breast cancer in my shoulder blades. Im also a fighter in this bed for 2 years. So when I say its a winner. Finally something I can do for myself. I can lean back on it and knead the tension away. Love it!

It is easy to use and has a wonderful booklet. I am a follower of Dr. Berg. I find his thousands of videos contain amazing information and I can now include this massage tool.

I wanted to give this four stars because for me it worked great but for my wife she could never get the hang of using it by herself. It does work in the sense that if you put it in the right spots and hold it there it really does relieve your stress and help you sleep. But on the other hand trying to get it into the spots you need it and holding it there without someone else helping you is what becomes difficult if you're not familiar with how to do this. I do like dr. Berg's videos and he has very good knowledge of how to use this tool but trying to use it by yourself without any knowledge becomes difficult. For me I like the product very much it relieves my stress at night and I am asleep within minutes after taking it off. It worked for both me and my wife but since my wife cannot use it on her own it is not worth the money for me to keep it it was more for her than for me. So now I have to give the massage each night to her in order for her to sleep well. And my fingers and thumbs hurt. I think if there were rubber balls at the ages of the tripods it would help secure enough in a place because it kept sliding upper down when she would put it on the chair or on the headboard of our bed. I personally think she would just not motivated to use the product to relieve her own stress. But for me I think it's a great product.

Great for massaging someone's else back to provide instant relief of tightness. Just use any skin lotion or massage oil and spread evenly on her back. Then press the two points anywhere and start dragging down along the rib cage. I also pressed along the side of the neck and pulled down across the top of the shoulder. Its a great substitute for using two fingers. I also used it for instant relief behind my neck.

**Disappointing and Not Practical for Self-Massage**I had high hopes for the Dr. Berg massage tool, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. I purchased it specifically for self-massage, hoping to relieve upper back pain between my shoulder blades. However, it’s not practical to use on your own. The tool constantly slips or falls over when you try to position it, making it more frustrating than helpful. If you're looking for a self-massage solution, this isn't it.

What a great tool. I was able to reduce a tight muscle on my upper back all on my own. I’m still learning all the features but so far I love it.

The quality is great, but I hardly ever use it.
The price is completely unreasonable, an overpayment for the Dr. Berg brand. The plastic is quite good quality, but I can't say that this thing is truly functional.
