Prestige Paints 100% acrylic exterior latex paint and primer in one is a high end paint intended to be used on exterior surfaces including properly prepared wood, masonry surfaces, cement board siding, vinyl*, aluminum, and factory primed siding. This durable, washable paint combines fade resistance, stain resistance and ease of cleaning, providing a long-lasting finish that can withstand wear and tear while remaining easy to maintain. Semi-gloss finishes provide walls with a shiny appearance and brighten a wall's appearance. Off-whites and pale shades of lighter colors are punched up and made brighter by the glossy effect created with these finishes. They are ideal for use in areas with high humidity. They are also the easiest to clean (with light scrubbing or wiping), compared to other finishes. The downside to a gloss finish is that it shows almost every imperfection on a wall. Average coverage 250-400 sq. ft. (23-37 square meters) per gallon. Surface Preparation: Remove dirt, grease, wax and soap residue, loose and peeling paint. Glossy areas must be dulled by sanding. New woods may require an oil base primer/sealer. On metal use proper rust primer. Application: Stir or mix paint before using and intermix all containers for color uniformity. Apply as is with a high quality brush, roller or pad painter. Thin sparingly with water if necessary for spraying. Do not overspread. Temperature must be above 50 F (10 C). For best performance, apply two coats of paint on new surfaces. Do not use indoors. Dry Time: Dries in 1 to 2 hours. Allow to dry overnight before recoating. Low temperature or high humidity may increase dry time. Cleanup: Use warm water and soap. Monitor-rendered and printed colors may vary from actual paint colors due to differences in color calibration between digital devices and the physical properties of pigments, lighting conditions, and printing techniques. Note that paint color can vary due to sheen, light, surface, and application method. *(Note: When painting vinyl siding do not paint with any color darker than the original siding. Painting with darker colors may cause the siding to warp.)

When I opened the can, I thought it was white, but this color is Caribbean Dew and it truly is it just a hint of light . When you’re painting it, it’s going to look like it’s white, but when it dries you can see the hint of blue in the color. It took two coats for me to be able to cover the really dark yellow that was in that living room. I had decided on this color because I needed that room to be brightened up since there are no windows in the vicinity. I am very happy with the color and it really opened up the room.

The colors were pretty and it was a lot of product, but it scratched off easily. I used it for my sons’ room, & the paint was only good for about a year and a half before I realized I had to seriously reconsider painting…I don’t recommend buying this if you want long term quality. It did not withstand the wear and tear of having children in a home! I guess it’s nice to test out in a small area wether or not you wanna commit to a color :/
