It’s small with makes for more accurate measurements. Have used these for years and still the best. These little tapes are thin, handy, and there, when you need them. You never know you have one in your pocket, until you need it, and there it is! I wouldn't be without one (or three)!

Compact 10 foot tape for when small size is important. ¼ inch width means it will bend easily, it will not stand out for you. If that is important, go to Stanley's 16 foot tape which is wider. On the other hand, this 10 foot version is bendable like a paper tape without having a bundle to collapse. Perfect for measuring curved surfaces.

I've been using this small measuring tape for several decades! This pint-sized measuring tape is very durable and long lasting! The only time I need new one is when I misplace it or someone "accidentally" forgets to return it to me.Example, I worked at an architectural firm and a group of us went to a jobsite. However, both of the architects forgot to bring a tape measure. Fortunately, I had my trusty purse-sized 10-foot measuring tape. It was a face saver for the architects. Infact, I had to remind one of the architects to return my measuring tape...he had put it in his pocket, "by accident". Well worth the money! Great for gifts as well.
