Good reliability and does not feel "cheap". Definitely will continue to buy the sturling brand as they do a greats job of blending value, feel and functionality at a reasonable price.

I bought this watch about 7 months ago. I noticed that when I woke up in the morning to put it on, the time was several hours off. I have had mechanical watches before, and ususally they remain accurate unless you haven't worn the watch for several days. I went online and submitted a warranty claim (for which they charged me $30). I printed off the return receipt and mailed it via UPS to the given address in Brooklyn. After a week of no updates, I went online to check the delivery status. The address of the "repair facility" in Brooklyn appears to be an abandoned warehouse. You can see in Google Maps there is a "Alexander Watch" company with the same address and the same voice on the voicemail. I called that number, no luck. So basically, I now have wasted $50 (because I also had to pay for UPS shipping) and all I wound up with is the watch back in my possession...still broken. Very disappointing experience.

Doesn’t keep good time. I have 2 Swiss quartz Stuhrling watches that I love, so thought to get another one with a mechanical movement for my collection. However I didn’t pay close attention to the movement maker. It’s a respectable Chinease movement but after 2 weeks of wearing and sitting on the winder it’s running more than 5 min fast. I have French mechanical clocks from the late 1800’s that keep better time. The fast movement and The dual time and day / night indicator means it needs to be adjusted by 24 hours every 4 days if you want to wear it daily and keep it accurate within a few min. Kind of pain in the back side. As an occasional piece it’s fine. It looks great and is constructed of quality material. Looks like a high end luxury skeleton watch which would make it a great value for the price. Would give it five stars if it kept better time. I still like it and will wear it, but not as planned. I work with 2 time zones every day and thought this would be the perfect daily watch. But that will not be the case.
