It worked the same on my 2014 A6 TDI. No lights showed up on the dashboard so it's legit. If you're thinking of buying 5-6 small bottles to go through the year just get 2 or 3 of these, it's cheaper.

Used for 2015 VW Passat TDI and was enough to turn off def warning. I used a screw on flexible hose to add this to the car's def tank. Dont see any dates on the bottle if thats a concern for anyone.

Much cheaper to buy the big bottle than the small ones. Of course, you lose the screw-in nozzle, but a $4 offset funnel from Bolo and just paying attention when you fill up the DEF and you're in at like 25% of the cost.

Didn't come with the screw on spout so now I have to buy another somewhere to get the spout so I can pour it in without making a mess, not worth the hassle

I added this about a month ago. The light went away and my Q7 continues to run great. No issues. It is from VW/Audi, not aftermarket. If you're adding to a Q7 it takes 24 liters or 6 gallons. So you will need 3 of these to go from empty to full, but 2 will get you over 5,000 miles.
