I bought this product from Bolo and from the first try onwards I had lot of difficulties in opening and closing the lid. If you are cooking something and after the item is cooked you would have so much difficulty in opening this product. I would advise everybody not to buy this product as it is a safety hazard.I returned this item back and the company did not give me full refund stating that it is used and I have not returned which is a absolute lie.Don't trust this company and its product. Beware of this company!!!!

Cooker arrived within two days in good condition. I used it following the directions and was disappointed in the units performance. I returned it today with the following comment, "As pressure builds the GRS (Gasket Release System) begins to release steam thus never allowing the cooker to obtain full pressure for cooking." Apparently Prestige decided in an effort to save money to use the sealing gasket in a dual purpose role. One, to serve as a gasket and two, to serve as a safety relief valve, with the result that neither functions properly.

The Prestige 10-liter Deluxe pressure cooker material is not of good quality compared to other Prestige product which we used years back. The bottom layer is so thin that hardly one can cook without a big layer of burn inside. It must be good for boiling water and stuff for which obviously no one wants to spend this amount of money. Its a add on to our garbage list to trash off now. VERY UPSET WITH PRODUCT QUALITY & PERFORMANCE !!

I bought this directly from Prestige official outlet during exchange offer period. Got nearly 500/- off on MRP for exchanging http://www.Bolo.in/dp/B00BSWHAI4 (aluminium with induction base ) which was also bought from Prestige official outlet 3 Years back.The reason for exchanging is, the induction plate which is attached to the bottom of this aluminium pressure cooker started pealing off after 3 years and prestige induction stove stopped recognizing this cooker. Hence we had to limit this one to gas stove usage.Under exchange, we bought this (Prestige Deluxe Alpha Stainless Steel Pressure 10 ltrs, note: this is the max ltrs you get for this model). This one too has induction base but of thick steel (as you can see in images) at the bottom. As the cooker whole body too is of steel, the bottom is strongly attached the cooker body. (We were told that there is no chance of this thick steel bottom to peel off as the body and bottom are of same material steel). Lets see.What I can suggest is, if you have induction stove and wants a cooker for the same, go for this steel instead of "aluminium+induction bottom". Because the sales girl at the official outlet itself told us that many customers faced same issue that we had (ie, induction plate peeling off).
Works well - good for small-scale canning
I bought this for sterilising mushroom grain jars. Works great so far! I can just comfortably fit four, 1L wide-mouth grain jars. Just a bit too narrow to fit two of my 1.5L jars but that's okay. "Whistles" when it's at 15psi (with enough force to get my dog running lol) so I hold it just under. Induction plate works great and heats up and pressurises quickly. Just be careful with the water level if you're running an hour or longer cycle, needs a bit more than in the manual to stop it going dry. Enjoying it so far - see how it fairs in the long run!
Body of cooker was little less diameter
Good quality , Bottom of cooker was thick and good. Inner diameter was little less , so you have to find out the right bowls that fit inside it.
Purpose Survived
We bought cooker with steel separators which makes work easy while in busy hours... It does it's work. The Product I received was not defective and is of good quality. I preferred steel rather aluminium a and I received pure steel. Purpose survived.

It does what it says,While ordering I was feeling it price to be too high, I but after receiving and using the product 4 months, I'd say it is worth the price...Cooks food faster saving Time and Gas...
