Great for infants!!!!! There are not many life jackets that actually fit an infant!
Life safety is so important on the water. It’s difficult but necessary for little ones. I needed a life jacket for a 6 week old, 11 pound baby. Most lifejackets that are listed 0 to 20 or 0 to 30 pounds are way too big for an infant. While this looks huge on him, it actually fits, and you can tell by the picture of the back of my grandson that it is secure on him even though from the front it looks gigantic. The pictures are slightly deceiving, it didn’t look quite as big as the photos make it look. The support on the back of the head keeps the baby’s head afloat. This sweet baby boy did not fuss in this life vest, we were lucky. I think this vest will fit him for close to a year before we switch to a small vest style. Highly recommend for small babies. This is a true infant life jacket approved by the USCG.UPDATE: I definitely recommend this "style" for infants. I will keep updating on how long this style fits a baby. We live in Florida and use our boat year round. I am posting this late September 2025 and the baby is 6 weeks old. There are a few styles available which are similar to this one, but this one was the most affordable (gender neutral) and looked very similar to the $60 vests. I strongly recommend.2nd update: 4.5 months old and fitting better:)

Important safety device!
Perfect size for my five month old! Wonderful quality and I like that it aims for backwards floating if needed. The bright design is also a perk in case of emergency, it is easy to spot. Definitely worth the money.
Happy and Comfortable 3 month old Baby!
The media could not be loaded. My three month old loves it. I originally got this for safety for the boat rides, but decided to give it a try at the pool. She does not yet sit unassisted or rolls just yet.I recommend this 100%. It gives the baby freedom to move, and provides comfort, support to their little backs and neck at the same time.My baby is 3 months and she’s used to room temperature/fresh water. I started with the feet to make her feel confident and comfortable. I let her guide me to when she was ready to get the legs and up to the tummy in the pool. Then up to her chest with me.After that I put on the jacket, first I was holding her and then little by little she made me understand she needed some freedom. Although I was always right next to her. She started to notice she could move when she moved her arms and legs and loved it.I got the cap to make sure to cover her little ears to avoid water getting into them to prevent infections, so be mindful and careful with that when you put the babies in the water 🙈.
