Description:
The porro Prism Navigator Pro Series is the choice for recreational boaters, weekend anglers and hobby sailors. The Steiner 7x50 Navigator Pro C binocular offers exceptional performance for the price with many of the features found on premium, world-famous Steiner marine binoculars. Although not built to military specification, they will provide a Lifetime of use for most water enthusiasts. These binoculars carry an HD fluid-damped, illuminated Analog compass for easy-to-read navigation. The 7x magnification is the marine standard, with a wide, stable image for tracking other boats, Buoys and bridge numbers even in rough water. Featuring high contrast optics provides bright, sharply contoured Images with natural color definition for outstanding viewing quality suitable for both beginners and professionals. The floating Prism system uses flexible Silicon lens mount to absorb severe shock, impact and abuse without damage. Also included is the sports-auto focus system, which lets you focus each eyepiece to your vision once, then keeps Images razor sharp from 20 yards to Infinity. No more chasing focus on moving objects. The makrolon house is durable polycarbonate with NBR long life rubber armoring, creating a lightweight, rugged chassis that withstands 11 GS of impact. That makes this binocular impervious to harsh conditions for generations of trusted use. The N2 injection system seals 14-psi pressurized dry Nitrogen into the optic, for fog proof clarity in any condition- from artic cold to Desert heat.

Until I have it, I did not know clear difference between mine and Military version. Almost 45 years ago, I had a 7 x 50 Steiner Commander version (Compass, measurement line and others). This time, I carefully read and read again to clarify the difference of those two. But except the rubber color (Mine is Navy blue and the Military version is Army green color). Now I guess, the weight and the case hardness are different and mine has no inner horizontal line but compass. This is not a Bolo's fault but the item provider. However, I am overall satisfied with my purchasing and the service of Bolo. Good package and fast delivery.Thank you!Seoul, Korea
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, built like a tank.
Wow! I'm totally impressed. The build of these are unreal. Yes, they have some weight to them, but it's substance. The optics are really bright and clear. I had to adjust each eye-piece separately as my eyes aren't the greatest as I get older. The compass card is huge and easy to read, especially with the red LED night light. What a substantial set of optics. I had considered cheaper alternatives but the reviews convinced me to go with the real deal the first time, else I go through multiple purchases of cheap substitutes. These will no doubt outlive me; the case is great and I will eventually opt for the floating strap once I get out on the water this spring. I was following several pairs on eBay but the ending price of the auctions for used binoculars was so high that I figured brand new would be the way to go. I don't regret this purchase at all. This is a worthy investment as I plan on doing even more sailing where I'll need to read buoys and channel markers, take bearings, and look for shoals and rocks. I like to navigate by paper chart and do my own plotting and cross-bearings, relying on electronics as little as possible. If you take the plunge on these you'll never look back; these will definitely be going ashore with me so they don't "grow legs" while I'm off the boat. I could not justify the extra expense of the Commanders and didn't really want the rangefinder reticle to take up my whole viewfinder, as it is, the compass doesn't really block the image much. If these aren't military grade, I don't know what is. No buyer's remorse here!
5.0 out of 5 stars The gold standard since 2015!!!
Prior to purchasing these binoculars, I did a thorough online research on it & its closest competitor, Nikon’s OceanPro.I had a few reservations particularly due to the price differences between the two. Doing a cursory side-by-side comparison they have several features in common. Each one has their own pro & cons and it’s up to the end user to ultimately decide which features best suits their needs. However, I would argue that more importantly are the practical features that do not appear on each of their description, mainly “Personal fit”. What I found based on a hands-on assessment is that the Steiner Navigator Pro was a better choice for me. The Steiner Navigator Pro was much easier to use, has better “Eye Distance/Relief”, as well as better “Interpupillary Adjustment”. No matter how many adjustments I nor the salesperson tried neither one of us couldn’t obtain a clear lens convergence with the Nikon OceanPro. Which made them for all intent purposes non-usable. I didn’t have that issue with the Steiner. They are built like a tank, and they can handle any austere situation you may throw at them. This design hasn’t changed since they were first developed in 2015. They been tried & tested and are the benchmark that all others competitors use and aspire to beat. That’s why military services around the world use Steiner binoculars.I guess my final tip is to avoid purchasing solely on technical data points but rather try (in person) as many binoculars as you can before you buy! But in the end I’m confident that you’ll end up choosing Steiner’s. I’m very happy with my selection!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great binoculars!
Easy viewing for a complete amateur. They are a little heavy, but this is not an issue for me. Exactly what I wanted.
4.0 out of 5 stars Quality
Superior optics. You get what you pay for. I don’t like how heavy they are, otherwise an excellent choice.
5.0 out of 5 stars This model is discontinued great way to buy a top quality binocular at a lower price
Always wanted the Steiner military commander with compass but could not afford it. This is the civilian version for boaters much less expensive. They are heavy and bulky but do not feel heavy when holding to view through. These binoculars will out live me and the image is as good as it gets. My main use is watching the Bald eagles on my lake.
5.0 out of 5 stars Professional level
Great solid binoculars. Only thing better would be if they had stabilizers
