no way it produces the claimed power, unless its momentary peak, clips to easy, i'd say about 60 old school watts.it dirves some polk sds srs2 speakers loud enough to really fill a large living room, with good sound. don't think it would really crank em though. someone asks about a fan? sorry no fan and still runs cool which says somethin about the power output.all in all i'd buy again as it does drive some rather tuff speakers enough to get some better than your sub woofer bass out of these polks at a respectable level.

As a company who provides professional sales. installation and service of high quality electronic components and systems we demand only the best for our customers and after connecting the Technical Pro AX1200 -1200 Watt 2 Channel Amplifier I performed a check on the sound quality using my Acoustic Audio Professional 12" 1000 Watt PA Monitor Speakers and I found the sound quality to be superb. The distortion was virtually zero, as for the clarity and sound reproduction it was almost live, also the impedance match capabilities will allow for a wide range of speakers that can be used, it also is equipped with a built in clipping feature which helps prevent damage to your speakers due to overload, I am very pleased with the performance and the price in addition to the prompt delivery and I would highly recommend this product and seller to anyone as well as gladly purchase from them again. Thank You.

Great amplifier! My previous amp had a built-in fan and got tired of the noisy fan plus the left side audio input connector stop working for no reason. So I look into an amplifier with no fan. This one I bought came handy and wasn't sure if it had a fan cause it has them bee cones in the front but come to find out it didn't have a fan and it was nice and quiet. The amp with fans are mostly for djs and for live entertainment that need to use them all day so they need a amp fan to prevent from heating up. So for me I only need it in my computer studio office room to watch videos and listen to music.
