The breadbox arrived very well packaged and fits just right on my counter. It's slightly larger than anticipated, but I'm happy to have a space for bread and cookie packages that previously took up the space the breadbox now does. The stainless steel gives it a nice contemporary look that matches my other appliances, and the bread inside is kept fresh and easily accessible by a roll up door. Great purchase!

Just received it today; bought it from Bolo warehouse for a few dollars less. But even at full price it is a good value. This is a -very- large bread box. Frankly it seems pretty sturdy to me. Doubt you could find one this nice for $25-26. much smaller bread boxes with more aesthetics or selling for 40 and $45-$50. I was interested in size and functionality, over aesthetics. Plus we have stainless steel appliances. Although this is shiny, it still matches better than other colors .It is mid-November now. I expect freshness not to be an issue. However in warmer months I intend to prop open the front maybe an inch or so to let in air. I don’t think this will reduce the freshness of bread; particularly considering we haven’t had a bread box for the past 20 years; and would put bread on the counter or in the refrigerator, with no real freshness or quality problems.The reason we got this is:our parrot keeps trying to eat the bread through the plastic wrapping and leaves crumbs all over the counters.Even though he’s a very smart parrot I doubt he’ll be able to open the bread box and get the bread; although I wouldn’t put it past him. Ha

I like this bread box!
The size of this bread box is ample for a couple of loaves or a loaf and other baked goodies! It had a sheet of bubble wrap around it, inside of it's own product box and then in a sturdy Bolo box with the plastic pillow filling. It is in perfect condition; no scratches or dents. It appears to be very well-made and the door slides up into itself very smoothly and easily. I am planning to bake a couple of homemade loaves but I've noticed so far it keeps store bought bread fresh longer than it's expiry date. It has the ventilation holes to let out excess moisture from the baked goods and it lets air circulate within with the raised pattern on the bottom. I looked at a lot of bread boxes before I decided on this one and even ordered a different brand that I sent back and ordered this one instead and I'm very happy that I did. It also fits in with the stainless appliances and it looks very smart. Great purchase!
