My dog has a medical condition and when she eats other treats she either has to poo a lot or it causes her to become very ill. I had to take her off treats for a while until I stumbled upon these and she was able to eat them again! We were both so happy. My dog had her theeth removed as well due to her prior owner not taking care of them and she is still able to eat and enjoy these treats. Im not sure of the taste but she loves them. Thank you so much hills for all you do!

I have 4 small dogs and only one would try it and the others just walked away. I have never introduced this flavor to them before and this may be the reason they are not interested. Also, they are not as soft as I was expecting but they are not hard either. I could break them in half fairly easy but they are not chewy. Actually, they remind me of a dog biscuit. They do not smell bad but I don't get a scent of peanut butter or bananas. My dogs are very picky with treats so just because they wouldn't eat them doesn't mean they taste bad because usually they won't eat any type of a crunchier treat.

My two 7# Yorkies like these. I found out about them at my vet. Other people have complained that they aren't soft. I cannot easily break them in half by hand (arthritis and carpal tunnel) , but if I put a small knife groove across the top, they break easily. I cut them into quarters and each gets 1/4 of a snack at a time. Rule of thumb from my vet: If you can't push your thumbnail into it, then it's too hard for a little dog.

These “treats” can cause serious injuries to your dog! We have a small dog so after her Inititial refusal to eat them. They were too hard/large for her so I started to break a couple apart to see if that changed her mind. That’s when I began to find these extraordinarily SHARP edged pieces (see pics) of (as yet undetermined) matter in the first two I broke up. I don’t know exactly what they are but I am convinced BEYOND A DOUBT that they can/will injure your dog. INJURIES may range from sliced and bleeding gums to infection and potentially a PERFORATED STOMACH AND/OR COLON which can lead to SERIOUS INJURIES AND DEATH. Not to mention the incredible vet bills for any of the above! I am SO PISSED that I forced myself to wait 24 hours to write this review. No matter what they are they are clearly NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE BAG! I just re-read the front of the bag right next to the U.S. Flag where it states “Made in USA with GLOBAL INGREDIENTS YOU CAN TRUST” Really?? What do YOU suppose those globally sourced ingredients are and where do you suppose they came from? I fully intend on pursuing this with HILL Corporate. If I can identify what this crap is I’ll be back to add on to this post. Any reply from Hill will also be posted here verbatim.I sure hope that these pics of these things come through along side the adjacent tape measure so that potential buyers get a clear sense of what I’m talking about. FYI - there’s a telltale sign indicating the presence of these things. Look for a small area of bright white anywhere one the outside of a treat. If you see this crumble it if you can and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. Hill didn’t just lose my business, they lost my trust! Never again.Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean that someone isn’t out to get you…

Not soft. These are so hard my dogs wont eat them. I have ordered before and they were soft and great. These are so hard i have trouble breaking them up to use in their kibble. I try to soften them in that so they are edible. Wont be buying them again.

My dogs are small( chihuahuas) and have missing or fragile teeth. These break apart easily and they like the flavors.

My Dog likes it, but not love it as with other treats. It's soft, not crunchy, I think that this wilted texture is a bit weird.

Hard as Rocks = False Adverting!
There is nothing soft about these. False advertising!!!!Bought these for my 14 year old rescue dog with 1 tooth and it is like cement! I am beyond annoyed. I was willing to pay a higher price for quality and as advertised but nope - false advertising.
