I haven’t had noodles in years due to a wheat intolerance but these gave me zero issues, they are super fast to cook and delicious.

Because of intolerances, I can't eat any grains, especially wheat but by accident I found that I can eat Spelt, probably because it hasn't been altered like wheat. These pasta noodles cook and taste just like wheat pasta and are very versatile. I've read that Spelt is used a lot in several European countries but it is difficult to find in the US. I live in Washington State and our big health food market chain, PCC (Puget Consumer CoOp), carried carried it for a while but then the farmer who raised the crop went out of business. So I just hope I can continue to get it from wherever.

Because of my gluten sensitivities, I have been trying to find a pasta alternative. I've tried several (corn, rice, quinoa) that I did not like. Since I can tolerate my homemade spelt bread, I decided to try spelt pasta. This product is a deliciously digestible alternative for me. The cost is a bit prohibitive so I still cook regular pasta for my husband who does not have gluten issues, but I loved the fusilli and I'm going on to try the penne and spaghetti.

Love this pasta!!!! l always make some kind of sauce for this pasta but actually its good with out anything on it at all..Fabulous flavor and l never feel stuffed even if l eat more than l should....

Biona Organic - Spelt Pasta White stated the word white. This Is the right description but I looked at the picture which looked brown. But it is white. I will not buy again because I prefer the brown - whole grain type - unbleached type. But my bad for buying it as the description said it all.
