This is the same quality L-Arginine that I used to buy in capsules from Twinn Labs but without the capsules and the extra unnecessary ingredients and because it's just the pure powder that makes it at a decent price.

This is a good supplement that has helped me stall the "over the hill" process. The main topic people talk about with this supplement is the taste. I'm going to make an admittance. This is hard for me to take. I come from the generation of protein shakes that required chewing, disgusting supplements that were terrible to take but I never had trouble taking one. For me, there's very little taste to L-Arginine. I don't try anything fancy, I mix it in 6 ounces of water then drink a bottle of water behind it. The problem is it makes the water feel thicker. Not unlike saltwater or if you poured baking soda in water. I have even tried just 4 ounces of water to mix it in but it doesn't mix as good in 4. With 6 ounces, if I think enough, I can down it all in one drink. I still pause as it goes down, close my eyes and shake my head a little. There are capsules but I already take 6 vitamins/supplements in pill form and don't want to add another. This package here by Bulksupplements is an excellent price but I do have to use more than than the instructions. I want 5000 mg per day and a 1/2 teaspoon is a little over 1500, so I'm taking a full teaspoon and another near full teaspoon. That would be my only reason to try another brand since some are now being made with 5000 in one serving. But I'm sticking with this one until my pouch is empty. This brands supplements are good quality and are very affordable.

Arginine has been a staple in my pre-workout supplement stack for years. I recently switched from the GNC brand to BulkSupplements because GNC discontinued their 5g-per-serving arginine. The GNC brand was flavored while this one is not, but that mean this product is pure arginine, rather than arginine mixed with flavorings.Sadly, that also means that the taste of the product is god-awful. I personally don't mind, because I just chug it anyway without stopping to consider the flavor. I take 10g of this powder alongside 6g of Citrulline Malate before a workout, and at least in this concentration, Arginine HCL tastes a lot like fishwater.Despite the taste, I feel that this product is definitely effective, and I notice more significant pumps and increased vascularity when taking this product opposed to when I don't. I will continue to purchase this product, because I feel that, even though it tastes terrible (all pure Arginine HCL products will), it is the most effective and cost-efficient type of Arginine HCL currently on the market.

I was advised by my doctor to take arginine following leg surgery which impaired my circulation. Since this was to be a daily period of walking to build up my circulation, I tried bulk arginine (free base). The taste was quite unpleasant, so I recently ordered and used Bulk Supplements L-ArginineHCl which has a tart taste that blends well with orange juice and a variety of fruit based smoothies. Arginine stimulates the production of nitrous oxide (NO) and has been a blessing in my general exercise routine. Leg circulation has improved dramatically. I take 2-3 grams in the morning and often the same amount for a late afternoon workout. Since arginine is a common amino acid, one gets several grams a day in food, so the amount you take depends to some extent on your weight and diet. If you get a headache after taking it, you have taken too much. Bulk Supplements products are all high quality and L-ArginineHCl is a five star product.
